As all the other reviews suggest, this place is genuinely a gem of place! The mom and daughter combo serves some delicious dishes along with the warmth of their hospitality.We tried their jerk chicken and oxtail. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavourful! We also had their homemade scotch bonnet pepper sauce on the side (it’s spicy for a brown guy, so beware) and it was an absolute delicacy. Can’t recommend this place enough!Happy dining!

I’ve had Jamaican food from Flatbush, Brooklyn to East side Toronto- this is right up there with the best of them. Jerk is hot, savoury and sweet right down to the bone! Curry chicken gravy for dem festivals!!! Omg… and honestly the best patty u ever had. Homemade- not frozen. Light, chewy crisp on the outside with a big serving of moist meaty flavourful filling. Steamed veg on point and massssssive serving (I got the large jerk). Heaven. All backed up by humble and welcoming customer service. I’ll be returning.

Food is absolutely amazing. We tried the jerk chicken with festivals and beef patties. Everything was made fresh at the restaurant and it tasted wonderful. Prices are very affordable. And the staff were extremely friendly. Definitely going to come back regularly from now on.

Been a regular here for some time but after todays visit hard to say I will be back. Arrived at 6:30 not unusual for previous visits I have had. Was told they were out of rice but working on the issue as they have a second location on the waterfront. Asked for directions to second location in which I was given unclear instructions. Went back to grafton and they had rice, would have been alright if they told me prior to spending $30 they didn’t have meat. As you can see from my photos it was just a sad excuse to make a quick buck. Instead of telling me they are closing early because they are out of food which I would’ve understood, I wasted not only my money but time.

Just moved to Halifax and I miss Toronto so much… Anywho! Tried this place out and I was very pleased with the customer service! Went in Sunday afternoon and it was quiet (much like Halifax). I ordered the small bbq chicken with festivals for $13ish. Portions are smaller than I’m used to and the rice & peas was very bland in my opinion. It’s a nice, quick stop for a bite to eat, didn’t wait long. Definitely will return :) mostly due to the amazing customer service. The oxtail will determine the real updated review.UPDATED REVIEW : June 2023I flew in from Ontario and after a long day I decided to get food to go home as I’m a couple hours away from Halifax. I have never felt more disappointed from a “JAMAICAN“ restaurant. I called ahead and was given an estimate of 25mins, I arrived in 23mins and waited about 10mins.SERVICE: ⭐️⭐️⭐️I tell myself that every time I get great customer service it’s because it makes up for something. And this time, it didn’t make up for the amount of money I felt was wasted.PRICE: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ $53 was my total for 1 large jerk with rice and peas, 1 large oxtail with rice and peas, extra oxtail gravy, 3 beverages and a festival.FOOD: I’m unsure where to start. The rice was ok. The vegetables were my kind of “just cooked enough” but the protein is a disrespect to where I was born and raised. The jerk chicken was a propane bbq (maybe) if not baked with a bit of seasoning. The THREE pieces of oxtail in my LARGE oxtail were a 6/10 and for $18.49 !Overall, my $30 parking ticket was better than this meal. If you’re not and never been to a Jamaican restaurant, enjoy. If you are any BIPOC I highly recommend just cook anything. 9/15= 60% just a pass

Absolutely INCREDIBLE service and food here. The seasonings of each dish is top tier and I have absolutely no complaints. The staff is very nice and I can tell they are heart centred! This establishment also has Eco friendly cutlery which are wooden and a very nice touch as I love to minimize my footprint. Very good energy here too. I’m excited to come back. And I love that they have vegan options too which were delicious. Also the decor and the environment is very warm and inviting. Thank you for having us!!

Great food. Good service. Wait times might take a while. Had the jerk chicken entreé. Crispy skin and very tender meat. Sauce flavourful. Yum! Came here twice in 10 days.
