Came back just to say the carrot cake is one of the best I've ever had. The store is spacious, organized, and clean. Also, I find that the prices are competitive or lower than bulk barn for many dried goods.

This store is EVERYTHING!!! So many options of dried and fresh groceries, personal care items and spices! Employees are so helpful and friendly, and will show you the ropes if it’s your first time at a eco/bulk store to help you weigh items and find what you need. Store is super clean and implemented extra safety measures too, which is critical during COVID for bulk stores. I just wish they would open a second location on the west end so more of us could enjoy bulk shopping!

Completely plastic free, which is a win of its own. Employees are insanely nice and I’ve never seen them mistreat or be rude or anything like that to any customer. I wear a niqab and I always get treated so well here, which makes shopping here a wonderful experience.BUT THE TWO BEST THINGS ABOUT THIS STORE ARE AS FOLLOWS:1.) the essential oils. Finding ethical, fair trade, good quality, non MLM businesses that sells essential oils is next to impossible. But then I found the bare market. Not only are their oils all of that, they are also super cheap. I’ve never spent more than $10 on an oil here, and all of them smell so amazing.2.) Gelatin free candies. Not only do they label the ingredients on all of their stuff, they also have labels marking things as kosher, vegan etc. So when I noticed they had gelatin free candies, I was in love. AND THEY ARE A GOOD PRICE! Most other vegan/vegetarian candies are pricey, but these ones taste amazing, and are gelatin free.On top of that, I’ve just started making use of their other products, and everything has been pretty affordable, and tastes good. All in all, I love coming here, and even with extreme anxiety about talking people in public, they make everything so easy and are super helpful!

What a lovely shop! So many options for package free groceries from fresh to frozen as well as spices, bulk grains, and everyday house hold products. The staff were very helpful. Please visit them as they are one of the best stock package free shops I have been to.

I’ve been a customer since the Patagonia pop-up days. Baremarket offers a variety of hygiene, beauty and cleaning products in bulk at an affordable price! I love that they allow customers to BYOC (bring your own containers) because I live quite far from this store so I always bring gigantic, empty plastic bottles for my refills. They also offer containers at a $2 deposit. The process of filling up your own containers is fairly easy to follow, a staff member is always nearby to help. I find it super cool that they have this timed piping system with the bulk cleaning product area. I press this button that says “2M” (meaning the liquid will come out for 2 minutes straight) and it’s super efficient to use because I don’t have to stand there and wait forever to get my big containers filled. I’ve been here just recently and they’ve now added a huge section of organic produce and vegetables. If you’re also looking for reusable products like tin lunch boxes, pads, bamboo toothbrushes, cotton pads, washroom products, they’ve got it all here! Check out their IG page, if you ever have any questions, DM them there and they’re fairly responsive. P.S. I would also recommend trying out their baked goods and lattes from the café.

Bare Market is a beautiful store filled with impeccably chosen local, ethical and package free products! Prices are fair, and the selection of products is vast from bulk makeup where you can buy only what you need or get a bit of each to mix your own perfect shade to all the oils and vinegars you could think of!Bulk shampoos, Castile soap, body wash, hand soap and more.Tortilla chips, potato chips, frozen fruit, bread, eggs, all package free.

Such a great idea and well thought out. Bring your own containers or buy their glass, mess or cotton packages. Definitely weigh your containers first using their scale and NFC chips. Also, no printed recipes - email only. Brilliant!

I completely support the push for less packaging and the need to be more ecologically conscious as a population. For this, Bare Market is a good addition to the various retail options across the City. That having been said, the produce section is found rather wanting, and the majority of the items in the store are focused on non-perishable products meant to replace common everyday disposable items. If you have already spent the effort to tradition your lifestyle away from disposable paper towels, disposable cups, bar soaps and shampoos, etc, then this might not be a right place to go for you. Try Green and Frugal, or Unboxed Market for the more seasoned eco-conscious individuals as their pricing and product selection is generally more focused and relevant. But, if you're more of an eco 'novice' and are looking to move toward a more eco friendly lifestyle, then this is a great place to start. You will open your eyes to many options available to you, and I encourage you to purchase a few items to begin your journey toward a more sustainable lifestyle.

I love shopping here, there are so many staple grocery items I can now restock without packaging and plastic waste. I also love checking out their personal care items, shopping for new flavours of ice cream, and perusing all the other treats they carry. The staff are always super friendly and the store is very clean and welcoming. Definitely a great addition to my grocery shopping stops!

I'm not used to shop in a bring-your-container kind of way but I really enjoyed my experience in this store.I specifically recommend going there to buy your essential oils as the are great and inexpensive.
