I have been using DeGroot Auto Service for more than 20 years.Mark and Merilee are the most friendly and honest people.All of the staff is extremely knowledgeable and repairs and service are outstanding.

We've been using DeGroot since we moved to Pickering based on a referral from a friend. Theyve been nothing but amazing with our Audi from brake fixes to an impromptu tire repair. They are professional and fast and have a friend cat to keep you company.

These guys were absolutely amazing to do business with! I called early morning about a starter motor replacement and advised I had the part already, other shops were saying they wouldn't be able to do it until a week later, as well as telling me they refuse to let customers supply their own parts, While the people at DeGroot were completely amazing, told me to bring it right in and got the work done using the part I supplied with no issues; I will definitely return as a customer

We had our first visit to DeGroot Auto last week. A strong recommendation from our son assuring us that we wouldn’t find a more honest and qualified group of individuals to take care of our trucks needs. He was absolutely right. Never have we been more pleased. Great work, fast turnaround and very pleasant staff. We will hands down be returning for all our future automotive services. Do yourself a favour and give DeGroot Auto a chance. You won’t be sorry!!!!!

I have only been at this shop twice, and thus far, I have no issues. From what I was told by the owner or one of them, is that ; they always get you your vehicle within the same day. On both occasions, I have gotten vehicle back as told. And the price was very reasonable.

I had the front brakes repaired on my car here. The work was done quickly and most important, it was done well. The cost for the service came in well below what I expected to pay, and the parts came with a lifetime warranty. I will take my cars back to DeGroot for future service. The waiting room here is also a blast, and the owner is super friendly.

They were honest ,with great customer service.Honestly , I'm a girl who knows nothing..they made me feel comfortable and let me know everything they needed to do on my car to get it road worthy , and got as much as they could get done with the budget I gave them . . . I left feeling satisfied with the work that was completed as well as comfortable with the price of things and didn't leave feeling ripped off.I definitely found my go to mechanics , being a first timer / blonde girl with no knowledge they made me feel at home and like I can rely on them.They were recommended to me by a tire guy who felt bad I was ripped off for the sale of my car.... And when I arrived I was given every reason. To know why they were recommended. I will definitely go back with all my car needs and be bringing ANY vehicle I buy here.

Found this place through my father and I need not look any more. Fair and honest pricing. I had a $3000 suggested" repairs from a GM dealership that when reviewed here

Although I didn't end up using this business because I had to go through a dealer, Merilee De Groot was the only auto person whom I spoke to out of 8 different places, during a car crisis, who was helpful, kind and willing to take my car in and look at it right away. If this is how she treated a non-customer that was just passing through, I can imagine the fantastic service and attention she gives to her customers! If you are looking for an auto shop that would take care of you as a customer and your car, I have no doubts De Groot would!

Been going here for more than 10 years. Always honest and forthcoming, always good quality work. They're busy for a reason!
