Mr. Evongelos was really helpful to us in renting a unit in the Shaughn apartments. He was always responsive and there to assist.

Unprofessional and rude admin customer service doesn't know how to respect customer's time and solve problems in a proper way instead of funny pushing and passing the buck ( luckily door men are pretty nice and kind). The apartment is not bad (small, a little bit pricy and noisy but can be tolerate). However, the upcoming pool and quipped gym are like forever upcoming since last Decemebr (poor credibility for their promo quotes, the bad smelling gym located in garage floor is like a joke).

I moved to the Shaughn 2018 and it was an amazing place with amazing services. Eventually, the adminstration company have changed. Since then, all services become bad! That includes the cleaning & hygiene, doorman & 24/7 securty services, concierge, elvators, building buzzer ... etc.

Stayed here for a month and and wasn’t impressed. Staff aren’t really interested in helping you with any issues. They’re busy in their phones. If you do have an issue, they’ll pass the buck to the next person. At times, elevators aren’t working, front door wasn’t working and the entry gate to the garage wasn’t allowing residents and tenants of the building in. Brought up to management but never fixed. The apartment itself is ok but nothing special. Walls are thin and you can hear everything outside your door. I sleep with earplugs but when they weren’t in, it was clear as having the door wide open. This place has the potential to be great because all you need is here such as pool, gym, EV charging, etc but the management needs a swift change with some tightening up and serious attention to detail. You can stay here in a pinch but as people have stated, you can probably find something nicer, newer and better for the same price.

Update: I've emailed the email left by their reply multiple times with no response.Would highly advice against this residenceOn top of multiple issues with the apartment qualitythe FOB keys are never programmed to open any of the doors in the buildingThere was no enforcement of any Covid measures in the building aside from closing amenitiesGroups of strangers walking in and out of the building with no masks and attending house parties of 10+ people, playing music well into the morningMany of the people who live here have no class or respect for their surroundings/neighbours. Mainly teenagers lacking any form of common decencyThere is trash everywhere, including trash being left in elevators constantlyTo add insult to injury, there is no possible way to reach management. After ignoring multiple emails from me requesting to discuss my lease and whether or not I may renew, I got a response from management mentioning their email was broken" and that they are expecting a payment of rent which they so conveniently forgot was free for the last two months of the lease. They also increased the amount that was supposedly "owed"

If you care about the pandemic then DO NOT stay at these apartments! I am 100% serious. They do not care about covid19 and do not follow ANY protocols. Many of the people here do not wear a mask in the common areas, not even the concierges. It is why the numbers in Quebec will never go down, because of residences like this. The attitude by the concierges is I don't have to wear one if I don't want to" Trust me

Stayed here for a couple months. The apartment was super dirty. They didn’t even clean the floors. Other people’s hair and dust was all over the floor. The door to the building was always not working, so I had to wait to enter the building several times during my short stay.

I am extremely dissatisfied and would rate this experience as ZERO stars! The manager of The Shaughn building demonstrates a complete lack of responsibility toward addressing customer concerns. They show no regard for the residents and are solely focused on closing a lease agreement. Any promises made to tenants are completely disregarded!Their behavior is completely disrespectful to both the residents and the reputation of the building. All the time they are BUSY! and NO TIME for their residents! It is crucial for them to realize, or perhaps learn, that effective and timely communication with customers is essential in maintaining professionalism in any setting. But Managers in The Shaughn building completely ignore all their responsibilities to their residents!

The administration team is the worst. They only care about their financial benefits and they might trick you and pressure you for the sake of money. They don't care if you are going to suffer. The only important thing is them.I am their tenant since 2018 and I have never been late to pay rent. They were ok but when (this year) i had financial issues and confusion on the services prices and details, they showed me the devil side of them.As an international student it's scary. This is because international students are concerned with their credit and they will pay what they are asking for under the laws and Rules" concept. Oh they definitely use that.I understand that they might be right from the legal perspective but considering humanity which is some thing they don't know they are definitely wrong.I have been in Canada since 2009 and I have never met such administration people. I am giving the one star just because there were some good times i had with this building in the beginning with the other administration team."
