Doris is the best to work with!! I asked her to make personalized mini Moet bottles with guests' names and posecards for the photobooth for my wedding. Her work is amazing, she is so kind, and finished everything way before the estimated pick-up date. Highly recommend, I am so glad I found her!

Doris Wai is an amazingly talented, insightful and precise calligraphist and artist. Her exhibition BOTTLED FEELINGS at URBAN GALLERY, in February 2020 showcased her beautiful artistry with heartfelt emotions that she solicited online and then hand-lettered on dark glass bottles. This was not only a unique approach to calligraphy, it was a sincere and sensitive revelation in how people can let out their deepest most secret anguish and emotions, and have them shown to the public without fear of reprisal or shame. Doris is a modern artist in every sense, and we congratulate her on her successful first exhibition!

I am a huge fan of Love Lettering. I first found Doris's amazing items at a wedding show and purchased a few pieces for my upcoming wedding and they were great quality. Seven years later her website is still a go-to place for me for gifts and lettering tools, her word pins have been a hit with my friends and family. Every order I've made has been so thoughtfully packaged. If I needed hand-lettering services, I would for sure look to Doris first. I use her envelope stencil all the time and her book is a great coffee table/craft book.

I entrusted Doris with a captioning project that had to be executed on a rather expensive custom archival matte which frames 5 portrait photos, each over 100 years old, each irreplaceable. The captions themselves are challenging! The project required Doris’s judgement about spacing, legibility, use of abbreviations if necessary, all aesthetic considerations where I needed to trust her. She consulted with me back and forth. I was able to ´OK’ the work in,pencil before she committed to ink. The result was very satisfactory! I will happily turn to Doris when I need calligraphy or lettering again. Chapeau, Doris!

Excellent service from LoveLettering!I ordered the stabilo pencils online around the end of February,But forgot to select the delivery option.After emailing with Doris, and paying for shipping I had expected to receive my pencils within a week or so.After 3 weeks, and no pencils I messaged Doris asking about what I should do? She replied saying that she had sent a 2nd package, which I did receive!I love the packaging and presentation of everything! It’s a small thing, but it bring a smile to my face!Thank you Doris!
