Paid $15000 for a new chimney beacuse it was leaking into the house. New chimney is still leaking and now Steve will not return any calls or emails to honor the warranty and fix their work. Definitely do not recommend Steves Masonry.

When our old chimney was crumbling, we knew we needed a professional to do the repairs. Luckily, a friend recommended Steve and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. He and his crew did a brilliant job for us -- the new chimney looks great and is exactly what we wanted. It was refreshing to find someone who takes pride in his work and who goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied with the result. If you need masonry work done, we would strongly recommend that you call Steve.

I just had Steve and his team rebuild my chimney from the roof-line up as it was decades old and in need of some serious work. It looks absolutely beautiful now. I even climbed up myself to check it out up close. It looks like it could withstand a bomb going off. I am very pleased with their work. The entire crew was polite, professional, hard-working, and kind. I am very pleased with the quality of work, overall attitude of the people involved, and speed at which the job was done. Our Chimney was in need of fixing as it looked awful and was causing water to come in to the chimney. They arrived when they said they would and did a very nice job on the repair. The chimney looks a lot better. They also cleaned up and even washed my car that got a bit of dust on it from the work they did. ThanksIt is a little over a year later and I am not happy at all with this company! I have contacted them a few times by message on their phone and emails to them and absolutely no reply. After spending 1500 dollars to repair the water coming into our chimney, we are still having the problem that they were supposed to have fixed. Do not hire this company. I phoned another company and they got back to me right away.

Steve & JJ did a Great Job. Fast, efficient rebuild that’s now the best looking chimney in the neighborhood!

UPDATE: Unfortunately had to take off another star because some of the mortar is already crumbling after 2 years, on a side of the chimney that I could not see (a roofer showed me and said it didn't set properly and needs to be redone in that one spot). Emailed Steve's Masonry weeks ago with photo to come fix - no reply.-----------------------------------------------------These guys responded quickly to a leaky situation, despite being very busy, when everyone else brushed me off. My chimney was leaking into the ceiling of my kitchen and Steve immediately came to wrap it, to prevent further damage, even though I hadn't hired him yet. They fit me in between other jobs (the work stretched for weeks) but they rebuilt both my chimneys and they kept my home safe and dry in the meantime. I had to take off a star because bricks that flew off the roof during demolition of the old chimneys were left behind where they landed, and communication with the guy who actually did the work could have been better (I never knew when he was going to be on my roof and he did not warn me when he was starting demolition so my dogs were outside when bricks fell off the roof). Also the rain cap keeps blowing off. The finished work looks good though and no more leaks! (it's been 2+ years). Price was very reasonable.

Steve came by our place to remove a crumbling chimney we had on the side of our house. His crew and himself are personable and easy to chat with and they got the chimney down safely and quickly.He went above and beyond by getting someone in to patch our roof so we didn't have to deal with that aspect. On top of that he also left his scaffolding up for the weekend when he didn't have to so we could get someone else in to patch up some damage to the sheathing from some animals and put up some temporary siding saving us time and money.A+ Crew and A+ guy.

Steve and his crew were able to artfully blend the new brinks of the chimney with the existing bricks along the side of the house. They were careful, thoughtful and precise. Steve has a lot of integrity and did not overprice or exaggerate the scope of work required. The clean up process was impressive and I am relieved to have the envelope of my house sealed and established again! Thank you!
