Absolutely the best food you will ever eat anywhere in Nova Scotia. Whether it’s the fabulous Saturday buffet or just to dine in at any other time, you will never be disappointed. The best food, the best atmosphere and you are always treated like family.

I absolutely classify Dhaba Express as a hidden gem of Halifax. I have only ever gone for the weekend buffet and it has been stellar each and every time. On my most recent visit I fell in love with the samosa chat and the punjabi chicken.I highly, highly recommend.

Food is tasty, but butter chicken had a sweet and sour taste, did not like that. Thandoori chicken curry is also very delicious. Butter naan is super big, One is enough to fill your stomach. Authentic Indian taste.

I received good portions, however I don’t think the food I received was totally worth its price. The naan wasn’t fresh, it was kind of hard and some spots were more like rock hard but I feel it would have been great otherwise. I got the chicken curry with potatoes which was good except for the fact that the chicken, just like the naan, was very tough instead of tender like it should have been. The curry could also use more spice because it was rather mild. I would have preferred it hotter but that’s just a personal preference of mine for which I should have requested higher spice level. To conclude this review, the food was fine overall even though I doubt its freshness. I would be willing to give this restaurant another try but for dine-in instead of delivery.

I can not say enough good things about the foodThe people and the spotless clean restaurant.The prices are amazing.You will most likely leave with a carry out carton ,excellent portions.Now is one my favorite places to eat A must try . Beautiful atmosphere aswell .Just behind Jungle Jims in bayers lake . The next plaza

We were drawn here by the aromas as we passed on our way to CBSA nearby. We had a lovely lunch which was very tasty. We chose what was on special, recommended by the waitress. The staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient.Very good curry.

Amazing food always. Saturday Buffet is Worth trying. Everything is super tasty.Update:Came back for the buffet again. Pleasantly surprised with the menu. Always new items to try.

The worst Indian meal we have ever had and we have eaten at many excellent Indian restaurants. This is definitely one of them. Where do we start - the “nan” is unlike any we have ever eaten it is more like a flat bread. The curry had loads of grease and hardly any chicken. The rice is not like regular saffron rice, which is much finer. The pics speak for themselves. It was expensive for sub-standard food and we won’t be returning.
