Had a great stay at this B&B for my 4 day trip. The hosts were a super friendly and amazing husband and wife that always started the day with pleasant conversation. The room was very large with a modern private bathroom. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Quebec.

Absolutely wonderful. Quiet, clean, and very comfortable. The B and B is close to public transportation, a short walk from lots of great restaurants and the Plains of Abraham. It's very easy to get to the beautiful heart of Quebec City, too! If you know nothing about Quebec, just a heads up that the city is very very hilly. Also, this B and B had very kind, helpful owners, and the breakfast they provided was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Lovely B&B conveniently located walking distance to Old Quebec as well as many restaurants. The host is amazing and went above and beyond. We got in late the first night and he brought us up amazing snacks to help us settle in (pictured). Breakfast each morning was really nice with great French press coffee, yogurt, fruit, bread and a main dish. We also left early in the morning to travel back at the end of our stay and he started breakfast early just for us. Room was very nice and big in an old, but lovely building. Definitely recommend!

Very nice and interesting property in a beautiful neighbourhood of Quebec City. The location was a 15 minute walk from the Old Town, which was great. Since the house is on the older side, it did seem a bit more fragile at times, but it was rather pleasant and lax. The parking space was really small- we ended up parking on the street as it was during the weekend. The breakfast was good, but we would’ve appreciated it more if we were asked about what we wanted/didn’t want. It could be a problem for people who have dietary restrictions or want to maintain a diet, mostly because the breakfast was always a surprise and not necessarily something we were asked about. All in all a good stay with a couple minor improvements possible.

Beautiful and historic building in the heart of the old city, feels like you’re walking through time. Walking distance from amazing restaurants and cocktail bars, the room was amazing with a cozy bed. Breakfast was delicious and speaking with the owner he is a delight. One of the most aesthetic B&B I’ve ever seen. Parking is tight but that’s because the building is almost 200 years old and predates cars and parking. If you are here for a few days there’s a TV and sitting rooms equipped with chess and checker boards.

Au Petit Roi is a charming, clean and inviting B&B just steps away from Old Quebec City. The owners are amazing hosts who are very friendly, welcoming and super helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast which was homemade yogurt, with fresh fruit, eggs and cheese on a fresh bagel. I truly loved my visit and can't wait to go back.

My sister and I took a weekend trip to Quebec City from Montreal and we stayed here for one night. They were very flexible and let us check in early when we arrived shortly after noon instead of their regular check in at 5:30. They even let us keep our bags there the next day because our bus didn’t leave until 7:30. The place itself was a whole experience. There’s vintage everything and it creates a very cool atmosphere to be in. On the level we stayed there was a common area with two couches, a tv, two tables, a chess board, a fridge, a microwave and coffee maker. The breakfast was yogurt with a variety of fruit and a bagel with egg. I highly recommend staying here, everything was clean and tidy and comfortable.
