Drop The Leash!

Laura has been kind, patient, and incredibly helpful in her Games that Train class. She is an expert with dog behaviour and was able to address all of my worries and concerns with my dog. She provides a unique class where she uses positive games to redirect the dogs attention when it is distracted. She is willing to stay behind to answer anyone’s questions and she really isn’t about the money. In other words, she’s willing to go above and beyond to help you become a better owner. She is amazing and would recommend all of her classes without hesitation!!!

Laura is fantastic. Highly knowledgeable and patient. We have a highly reactive dog and her training methods are definitely helping us get through a very difficult situation.

We are going into week 4 of Games that train and I am already seeing a great improvement with engagement and listening. We’ve been to other group training and they helped build a good foundation, but something about how Laura explains why you are doing these exercises, is really helping me improve MY technique and consistency. Our forest, long lead walks have improved, as he checks in more often, stays closer and has better recall (less pulling the lead to bring him away from a distraction) This has been an excellent class to add to our teachings and the most effective one yet.

Excellent training service for dogs at all ages. The big advantage - besides the owner Laura - is the huge spaces for your dog to train in a secured way under supervision.Did beginning obedience and looking for agility now.Highly recommend.

My dog Lucy is doing ok, except biting, she loves her cage, she even walked into it last night. Loves car rides too. We are still worried about socialization with her with other people on the street. Class is great love it. Laura is great to listen too. Wish we could bring our dog to her in person.

I recently adopted a 1-year-old beagle mix rescue from the states. He knows nothing other than being in a kennel. He is a sweet natured loving dog and is very smart. I took my dog to Laura's training in a group setting hoping to get him some good training. The first training class went well, however, when we returned for the second class it was a complete repeat of the first class. Due to personal circumstances, we were not able to return for the remaining 4 classes which had already been paid for. I first asked Laura for a refund for the remainder of the 4 classes I cannot attend and she said I don't do refunds". She then offered to come in person to my house for some training

Laura is amazing! We have used her guidance with 2 dogs nows. Our last Rescue was reactive and Laura worked with us to make it manageable and make our doggo a much better companion. We have now done puppy classes and are in the middle of the introduction to agility with our new pup. I can't say enough about Laura. She is a great person and a wealth of knowledge.

Trainers and courses were game changers for us. After 3 levels elsewhere and a fairly extensive dog experience there were still things I couldn't figure out with my aussie. Games that train was perfect for that. Markham location is a bit akward to find but a remarkable space. Looking forward to utility classes.

I just completed my first agility/games course at Drop the Leash. It was outstanding. Found it fun and stimulating for both my dog and myself. Who knew one could train while playing! Laura and Celeste trainers are very knowledgeable. With their guidance, I have totally transformed my opinion on training and my general relationship and interactions with my dog. I can't wait for the next session.
