Holiday Inn & Suites Montreal Centre-Ville Ouest, an IHG Hotel

Clean, comfy, and exceptional service. Very close to the Bell Center.The hotel was built in 2017 so it’s quite new.Great indoor pool with a view. The hotub’s jets weren’t working though.$40 for parking with in/out privileges.I’ll stay again if I’m ever going to the Bell Center.

Frankly, I don't have anything bad to say about my 4 day stay.From check-in, to the quality of the room, gym, to check out - everything was excellent. Super clean, bed is very comfortable, they have a quiet policy after 10pm, and the gym is complete with great equipment. Not some flimsy weight and threadmill machines.Some small details that really made my days:- coffee machine complete with coffee capsules in normal and decaf, and tea capsules- dim bathroom night light when the bathroom lights are turned off. Great for people that tend to wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom- soft bed. Just nice, neither too hard nor soft.

Terrible arrival experience. Being a diamond member I get breakfast for free as a welcome amenity and was told the policy of this particular hotel is to not provide the breakfast for children under 11 for free for diamond members who benefits from the welcome perk. Guess it’s there way to day welcome back to IHG and thank you for your loyalty . Raised my issue with the manager in charge Solen, since it’s my first time facing this issue after more than 300 nights in IHG hotels.Was told the hotel wouldn’t budge. Inform them of my disappointment. Which was noted without any other form or care.Pool was dirty do we didn’t dare use it.Room are good, bed comfy.Was told there was no wine bottle opener available for guess for the room. Ended up buying one. Later found out by myself there is one in the little shop next to front desk. Guess staff didn’t know.Disappointed and happy I’m only staying three nights.Won’t stay ever again.

As a hotel the facilities were great. But the some of the staff was really, REALLY not friendly and welcoming. When I arrived their machines did not want to accept my Credit Card for the deposit (100 CAD). So I called my bank and they told me that the transaction does not even make it over to them, so the problem is with the place I am trying to make the purchase. So I asked whether I can pay cash or Debit, but the answer was a non-empathetic NO and the woman behind the desk did not care that I had not slept for 24 hours and just told me Well you can find another hotel
