Shannon is an awesome music teacher. My daughter attended her group music lessons for younger students and later 1:1 vocal lessons for many years. Shannon always created a very warm, inviting and fun learning environment for her students. I would highly recommend Kingsbury Music!

Shannon Kingsbury is a wonderful and compassionate teacher. Our daughter is in their 11th year of lessons and still loves them. Shannon is kind, makes the lessons fun and has motivated our daughter to start writing their own music.

Shannon has taught all four members of my family since 2010. We have thoroughly enjoyed taking lessons with her; one of my children has carried the love of singing and performing from her first classes with Shannon at age four, on to high school and a major in vocal music. Shannon is amazingly kind, lots of fun, and extremely supportive of singers at every level and age, from babies through older adulthood. We highly recommend her as a vocal coach. Also, she’s delightful.

Shannon has been our children’s beloved music teacher since they were babies. Her warm manner, professional presence and skillful teaching are a true gift. As an adult, I trained with Shannon for multiple years. She was such a nice teacher who worked hard to engage me and create a safe place for my singing confidence to grow. We picked songs I wanted to learn, she broke them down and figured out the sheet music and then she taught them to me part by part, perfecting each part before bringing the song together as a whole. She was so patient and didn't mind repeating songs again and again until I got them. This was all interspersed with fun singing exercises including singing rounds together.

Shannon was a thoughtful and warm teacher and facilitator. She created such a warm and positive atmosphere for our daughter, and designed events that gave her students a chance to perform and be celebrated. I feel grateful that my daughter and our family had a chance to be a part of the community that she creates.

Shannon is a wonderful instructor. She is able to build a strong connection, even virtually, and her style is personal and professional. She is also a great communicator - warm, informative, and timely. I would recommend Shannon to anyone who wants to have fun and feel comfortable while building their musical skills and reperatoire!

I first reached out to Shannon about 2 years ago as an adult learner. I had always had a love for music, however I also had a massive fear of singing in front of anyone! I wanted to overcome this fear and learn something new. I am so glad that I met Shannon - she is a kind, warm, compassionate, and incredibly talented soul who made me feel welcome and at ease as soon as I stepped in her door for the first time.
