Off Centre DJ School

I took a full music Producer & DJ program at Off Centre and loved it very much! Erik is a nice person and a great coach full of positive energy. He makes the place cozy and homie that inspires you to give your best and learn with desire. Thank you Erik!

From my first contact with Erik, he was friendly and very accommodating. He worked with me to arrange a private group session for my dad's bachelor party. The day of the session was great! Erik had our group up and running in no time and we felt as if we were really DJing! The balance between instruction/demonstration and hand-ons learning was perfect. I took the Full DJ/Producer course and it was such an amazing experience! Chel, Erik, Alan, and Jason (my instructors) were all such fascinating, open, and unique individuals with their own quirks, viewpoints, and approaches to music. What amazed me the most was that the instructors created such an amazing learning environment that suited the needs of me and my fellow students even though our music interests varied wildly. I highly recommend this place to people of all ages and skill levels. Thanks guys!

I recently completed The Complete DJ Program at Off Center DJ School. Erik, the instructor is super approachable and goes the extra mile for his students. He still checks up on us even after we completed the course and the entire class gained new friends.A great experience and a really awesome vibe. I feel like you sort of make it what you want it to be, and Erik will let it happen. We really liked documenting our progress and Erik became a part of our journey and helped us capture some awesome photos and videos.I already came in with a tiny bit of experience but I still found value in this course. I recommend you own your own controller and definitely a laptop. I also recommend you do a bit of research with some basic knowledge as it will help getting EVEN MORE out of the program.Still, even if you have no experience whatsoever; Erik will make sure you will leave knowing everything you need to know in order to get behind the wheel and continue your journey becoming the type of DJ you want to be.It felt like a very custom/personal experience. Erik made sure he checked with us what type of DJs we wanted to be and he made sure to guide us separately and together for us to get our own personal experience as well as still be part of the group.I value everything I learned it Off Centre DJ School and gaining all these new friends who all share the same interest and want to still practice together was a huge bonus.Before I completed this course I didn't work with Turntables. It felt like a hassle. Now I'm considering getting my own. I appreciate that Erik is teaching his students with real Turntables.What else can I say... If this is your dream or even a hobby you're really interested in; it's not much to pay for it. Super worth it.Thank you, Erik.

Im currently enrolled in the full producer program for Ableton. I've gone from having music in my head to music on the speakers. They're great at teaching you the fundamentals of the program so that you can create your own tracks.

I would definitely recommend this location!Learn DJ from the basics with a friendly and cooperative trainer.Thank you for the confidence I feel at the moment.

Did the Full DJ Course recently and had a great time. Erik is a wealth of knowledge and will help you prepare regardless of what your musical interests are. He's encouraging and patient and will provide constructive criticism to improve your playing. The setup and small class size is fantastic meaning you get a lot of personalized teacher time. Learning to scratch on vinyl and learn the techniques by ear before going digital really helps the theory and understanding sink in. Overall, had a fantastic 12 weeks, would highly recommend if you're considering learning the instrument. 10/10 would course again.

I recently completed the Full DJ Program. It was an amazing experience and Erik was an incredible teacher. 

It was a really inviting place and everyone was so nice. Classes are small, it was only 5 students in my class so you essentially get 1on1 learning. You start off with analog and learning the basics in turntablism, which by the end of the program I saw how that really helped me advance. It was also great to be able to spin vinyl since it wouldn't be a set-up I'd be able to invest in as a beginner. I learnt so much and realised my style as a DJ. Highly recommend for anyone looking to advance or even if you have no experience.
