Grand Victorian Convention Centre

Leaving this review in the hopes the management sees this and knows how to improve. It's sad that in this day and age, south asian centric businesses continue to increase the prices WHILE providing unacceptable service. We saw a wedding in action on our visit. The hall was no doubt well decked out because of how it is built but the food stations+area were unacceptable.1)The chaffing dishes were rusty, dingy, hard water stained and clearly very old.2)The table cloth they were setup on had previous food stains. 3)The tables had bread chunks and crumbs all over the floor and had been swept under just enough to cover it.This is beyond unacceptable. You do not deserve 20-25k worth of people's money on their big day, only for your management to serve their guests like they are visiting a cheap 2 star indian buffet restaurant. Please get real. If you want to improve your business, pour equal energy and time on presentation of food. Presentation matters the most and I know you guys understand that because you take pride in showing off your hall.

The hall itself is fine but the restrooms can use some changes. The ladies restroom has just 2 stalls and it was a mess. The automatic flush on the toilets was very delayed. The toilet paper was not in the dispensers --instead, it was on rods placed on the floor. Also, there was no soap in the bathrooms which is quite problematic when you're attending a wedding with 400 other people.

One of the most COLOURFUL venues we've been to! The gorgeous chandeliers & dramatic lighting add a classy look to weddings and give you stunning photos of every angle. The staff is courteous and the foyer is perfect for hosting cocktail hour or a buffet dinner. Thank you for having us and we can't wait to be back!

With a great portion of my family being Chinese, I can vouch that the Chinese food here it's authentic, traditional and very good as well. We had a large family group here recently in a separate dining room and they took exceptional care of us.

We got married this weekend at Grand Victorian and it was the BEST decision we've ever made to chose this venue for our wedding. We had postponed our wedding from 2020 to 2021, and have been communicating with Dewinder. Dewinder has been helping us since early 2020, almost on a daily basis and has been a pleasure to deal with. He has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND. I cannot thank Dewinder enough. We genuinely wanted to book Grand Victorian because of his amazing service. He has been sooo patient, and has helped us alongside for almost 1.5 years and has always been there if we had any questions or concerns. Literally almost daily and has been patient through my bridezilla moments too lol. He truly is an amazing person and manager. Aside from the service, the venue is STUNNING and the food was seriously 10/10 and SO delicious. I promise anyone reading this, this was the best hall food I've ever had. Our family is STILL talking about how great the food was at our wedding. If youre even considering Grand Victorian as a banquet hall, and if you want an exceptional, royal wedding, book through Dewinder and I promise you, you will not be disappointed. You will have the wedding of your dreams. Dewinder, if you're reading this, thank you for being so patient, helpful and being SO caring/considerate. We seriously cannot thank and appreciate you enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams and helping us with our package and details. I genuinely think you made our wedding, and it would not have been the same without your help! Had my wedding hall party here couldn't have asked for a better hall it was amazing from top to bottom. I have been to so many halls and had more then a few weddings in the family, these guys and there team really impressed me the food was amazing clean usally the butter chicken has a few fat parts these guys made it perfect, I could go on about the food but there is just to many good items. The hall it self has amazing photos and design everyone who came to the party was impressed by how good everything looks I didn't even need decor for it. They really took care of me a my wife with amazing service and a place to stay for me and my guests highly recommend for any party or even a weekend stay at the hotel attached

I recently attended an event at the Grand Victorian Convention Centre in Mississauga and can honestly say that it was a fantastic experience. The location of the venue is superb and easily accessible from all parts of the city. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful, ensuring that every detail of the event was executed flawlessly. The convention center itself is breathtakingly beautiful, with a perfect blend of modern and historic architecture. The maintenance and cleanliness of the building really impressed me. The food and beverages served at the event were top-notch and the presentation was truly impressive. Overall, I had an absolutely wonderful time and would highly recommend the Grand Victorian Convention Centre to anyone who is looking for a luxurious and elegant venue for their next event.

I cannot put into words how happy we are with the outcome of our wedding.We booked the Grand Victorian back in 2019 for a 2020 wedding. Due to the pandemic we had to reschedule it twice. Dewinder and Seema were so accommodating and kept communication with us from 2020 till 2022.Dewinder was extremely nice and welcoming from the start of the process. He was the only one that agreed to do both Italian dishes and Indian dishes out of all the venues we checked out. We had Italian and Indian antipasto table, steaks or Indian food for dinner and the dessert table. No other venue would agree to this request but the Grand Victorian. He would always say “we want you guys to enjoy your nights, we’re here for you”, I really appreciated that because it truly felt like he was there for us along the way. Also the food tasted amazing!

Seema was our coordinator. She was absolutely fantastic answering all my questions. She made this experience so stress free as it felt like talking to a friend/family member. We had multiple meetings where we went through the schedule, the menu, the hall setup and it felt like we were able to decompress as we knew she had all of our interests taken care of. I can truly say she made the night a wonderful experience.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Dewinder and Seema, the night was spectacular and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to our marriage.

Had our wedding here recently, and it was an absolute blast! The location was great, having a hotel right next door was super useful, and the venue was beautiful. The staff were also very helpful and very accomodating. Would highly recommend! It was very smooth sailing for us.

We had our wedding here last year and it was wonderful. We were the first wedding they had hosted post covid and we couldn’t be happier with the support we received from the staff from the planning stages all the way through to execution. They are professionals who made sure that every detail was sorted out well in advance so that the events of the day went as smoothly as possible.
