Les Matins de Victoria

This hotel is amazing! I love all the characters here and the story of it back in 1907! There's even a hot tub and beautiful landscape! The town is very cute which reminds me of home in Kemptville! I highly recommend renting here!

There are SO many reasons why this was the most amazing stay on our trip.... here are the main things:1. Gracious hosts - the nicest, most welcoming people!!2. Location - Waterloo is a great location convenient to Magog, Bromont, and Granby, perfect for touring the area3. BICYCLES - He has a fleet of bicycles so you can tour the area by bike!! We did a small cycle ride around town, and the Route Vert is very close by - wow.4. Hosts make it so easy - while they speak French, he also speaks perfect English, and she some Spanish.5. History - the place is historic and quaint, and the owner is a history buff. He also leads historical tours, so he knows so much about the history of the area. There is a lot of history of the house itself.6. Amazing 3-course breakfast.The place was clean, so accommodating, and the Quebecois hospitality came through at every point. We will be back!

This is one of the nicest b and b places we have been. On arrival Alain greeted us outsde...so welcoming and accomodating ..offerring us refreshments right away.The house is beautifully restored in its original Victorian style. There were many little touches which made the stay special...chocolates in the room...a welcome glass of wine...helpful tips for exploring the area. We stayed in the Victoria room which had a sun room/seating area with a fridge etc.We had read reviews about the breakfast and were not disapointed...eggs benedict served in a martini glass...home made jams..just another way that Ann and Alain make you feel as if you are family and not tourists!I had broken my leg a month earlier and they were so sweet making sure i could go up and down the stairs...offerring help etc!We have visited the Townships many times but had not explored Waterloo and with its beautiful waterside park...restaurants and shops and miles of biking paths it is a great centre for a visit to the area. This was a fantastic getaway weekend in an absolutely beautiful spot in the Eastern Townships. Alain, the owner of the B&B, is the most delightful and warm hearted person one could hope to meet and he made us both feel at home.The B&B was kept spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was cooked and served by the owner and it was delicious!I hadn't been on vacation in several years but have no regrets about my choice and my partner, I know, echoes my comments.The bed was perfect and the bedding clean and comfortable.We cannot wait to come back and stay again in the fall.See you soon Alain...K&C

Very charming place. What is even more charming are the owners. Alain was extremely friendly and generous. Definitely recommand!!!!

You can't find better hosts than Ann and Alain. Wonderufl couple and beautiful home. You'll love their breakfast! Better than a 5 star hotel!

Our plan was to spend one day biking in Granby. My son told us that there is a place where we can rent bicycles in Waterloo and then biking the Green Bicycle Path between Granby and Waterloo. When we reached the Les Matins de Victoria and warmly received by Ann and Alain, we just fell in love with the place. We spontaneously decided to stay the night and we were lucky to find an available room. The reason we loved the place was not only the beauty of it, but the way Ann and Alain welcomed us. We immediately felt like they are part of our family. We spent a wonderful night which included a warm friendly chat with them and a relaxing hot tub!! In the morning, the 3-course breakfast prepared by Ann and Alain was another special thing we experienced. I can write much more about the beautiful details of this place. A big THANK YOU to Ann and Alain. We will be back!!!
