The store itself is large, clean, and well lit and the selection of items are great, and it's about what you'd expect from a store like this. I've been here a couple times and they definitely treat you differently depending on how you're dressed and if you're a gaggle of young girls walking in window shopping or just a single person looking to buy something.I had a great experience coming in myself to pick out something for my mother's birthday, the staff were sweet and attentive. I've also had more awkward experiences such as times I came in to window shop with friends and we were tailed the entire time and given pretty curt responses to questions.It's fairly normal practice, I understand why it might me necessary to follow certain types of people but that doesn't make the experience any less uncomfortable. I'd say you're best bet is to dress presentably and come in with confidence and usually it's fine.

Finally got my hands on a frequently sold out online item and it came from this location. They sent the wrong smaller size of the item that costed less when I paid more. Immediately contacted customer support and they took 5 days to resolve the issue offering the solution for me to return the item when I could have done that sooner. They did not offer any type of compensation (a discount code would be been nice) for my wasted time or energy. Never ordering from holt Renfrew again. Such poor service. Would rather pay a bit more on another online retailer like 24S, FarFetch or MyTheresa for the proper item to be shipped. I’ve also been a loyal customer for years.

Very clean and tidy, big huge store, with a very big selection of amazing clothes and shoes! I recommend it highly to go here to anybody who likes a little class! Located inside Square One.

Luxury shopping centre with most designer names. Great destination for my designer shopping in Canada. Many categories of products. Staff is great all the time.

Bobbi from fragrances is the best! When it comes to colognes, I am very picky and it can get very hard for me to decide. After all your fragrance is your Identity.I came in with the goal of purchasing my next Luxury Fragrance and with so many options, the decisions was definitely going to be difficult. Many of the staff members say my confusion and looked the other way. Bobbi was quite the opposite. She spent almost 1.5 hours helping me try on what I would say was north of 20 scents. Almost cashing out several times than rethinking my decision, until she helped me find my next fragrance…. Versace Atelier Safran Royal. *Chefs Kiss* amazing find, and amazing experience. I absolutely cannot wait to go out and rock this new scent.Bobbi - if you’re reading this, people like yourself are why people like me still come in store at a time where everything is online.

Aryan was very friendly and attentive to my needs. He listened to my preferences and helped me narrow down my choices. His expertise and attention to detail got me the perfect shoe for my wedding. I recommend him to anyone looking for a someone who is knowledgeable, friendly, and true.

I have spent many hours, and far much more money in this store, and I would love to give a shout-out to Eduarda for being by far one of the best luxury sales associates I’ve ever spoken to. I’ve had several associates in this store however none do it like her in my opinion, she is kind, understanding, gives you many options, and does not judge. Many of the associates here tend to judge on looks, as someone who dresses in comfort 90% of the time mostly while shopping, I have found that trait to be extremely frustrating. I did not even make an account here for most of my purchases because no one ever brought it up until the last year or two. I also often, need to get help myself versus more luxuriously dressed customers because of that. This store also tends to sell VERY quick which can suck a lot if you are wise with purchases and tend to wait it out to see if it would be an impulsive purchase. I’d also like to shoutout the Chanel girls, and the men’s clothing/fragrance area! those associates have always been helpful to me as well! One of the older ladies with a brown bob at Hermes treats you like thieves though. She single handedly made me go to sephora and get my fathers $1.5k worth of gifts there instead…. I would avoid that area because of her, she’s extremely strange. However the one with short platinum hair is wonderful.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Holt Renfrew and I must say, my experience there was truly exceptional thanks to an amazing employee named Aryan. From the moment I walked into the store, Aryan greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and was able to answer all of my questions with ease.What truly stood out to me was Aryan's genuine passion for his job and his dedication to providing exceptional customer service. He took the time to get to know me and my preferences, which made me feel like a valued customer. I left Holt Renfrew feeling confident and happy with my purchases, thanks in large part to his excellent assistance. I highly recommend Holt Renfrew, and specifically Aryan, to anyone looking for an outstanding shopping experience.

Looked for a specific gift, online it had both items listed as being available at this store. Attendants could not find either. They looked everywhere. The real disappointment is for a high end fashion experience, seeing items pushed into bins wrapped as it came from a plastic factory oversees was the real turn off. If I pay premium pricing, the merchandise needs to be presented and packaged to march that experience. The displays are premium, so why not the purchase be the same? A real let down.

I just bought a Moose Knuckles jacket and the lady who attended to me her name is Monika. She was very accommodating, while the other senior or old lady, which unfortunately I didn’t get her name, she doesn’t have customer service etiquette at all! She didn’t allow me to use the fitting room and just told me to try the jackets in front of the mirror while the shoppers are passing by! How rude! This 5 star is for Monika. She’s an asset to Holt Renfrew company.
