I was giving a private bike tour of the city for a friend from Vancouver (just for the day), when I unexpectedly got a flat tire. The staff at E-2 were so welcoming & surprisingly fast, as they replaced my tire within 20 minutes. Anthony (whose name I hope I spelt correctly), is the person who served me when I first walked in. He was attentive & assured me that my bike would be ready in less than 1/2 hour -- which it was. To conclude, I was thrilled with the service, which was efficient, bilingual & fairly priced. I'm glad this bike store is in the neighbourhood!

Went in for a fat bike tire change, the service was quick and they voluntarily took the time to clean my chain since it started to collect rust. Helpful staff, as well, that helped me understand the mechanism of an e bike.

We have been going to this place since last yearfor repairs on the same electrical bike, but I am inutter shock over the service I received by aworker (could be manager? or worse an owner)named Philip. My son was scheduled anappointment for Wed May 6th to have his brakespads changed and bled. We placed theappointment with Nicholas from a month ago andall the information of repairs and the type ofelectrical bike was mentioned to him prior toarrival. It seems due to Covid, appointments arenow necessary due to overload of work and theycan no longer keep any bikes in the shop. It took amonth wait before we were able to see anyone atthe shop. Because the brakes did not work thistime, we hired a delivery person with a pickuptruck to pick our bike from home and bring it tothe shop for the necessary repairs on ourscheduled day and time. Once we arrived there,the friendly personnel took all the informationdown on paper for the repair, but when Philip sawthe bike he said they do not repair these types ofelectrical bikes and insisted we leave. His brutalunprofessional behaviour towards us was beyondbelief and the personnel there were also in dismay(seen by the look in their eyes) of his actionstowards us. Nonetheless, I insisted if they are notable to replace tires that we also wanted to do,they at least repair the breaks, otherwise wewould not be able to go back home. I understandthe electrical bike is heavy and weighs 100pounds, but all material on this electrical bike arebike material, breaks, etc. My son’s electrical bikeis also advertised as such “an electrical bike”. TheyE2 Sport even sell heavy electrical bikes and evenadvertise they repair electrical bikes. Our friendswith similar heavy electrical bikes get their bikesserviced there and highly recommended this placeto us last year, so why all of a sudden he did notallow the repair of this bike this time and respectthe appointment is beyond me. His excuse was thelift would break, but you did not need a lift toreplace breaking pads. If they had a lift weightcapacity they should have mentioned this on thephone prior to the appointment and as well itshould be stated on their website that they nolonger service electric bikes that weigh 100pounds. They should have also mentioned this onthe phone prior to our arrival, not have us arriveand then he refuse to service us. After a few backand forths, he wanted to only repair break padsnot bleed etc., Philip allowed the personnel tomake the repairs on the bike, but insisted it wouldbe for the last time and my son’s name would nowbe in the system as they would never accept himagain. Again I was in shock by this rude statement.After all, we did not do anything wrong, but go toservice a bike that has been serviced there before.We were treated unfairly and in a very hostileunprofessional manner. Nonetheless, I let Mr.Philip enjoy the fact that he was doing us a favourand did not voice the exasperation I was feelingand neither was I going to say anything on howrude or insulting he was from the get-go.However it did not end there, after the bike wasrepaired, paid for it and headed out the door, hemade sure to escort us to the door and remind usnot to come back again. Mr. Philip needs to betrained for proper communication skills andprofessional customer service. It is not onlyunacceptable for any client but for any humanbeing to be treated so ill by this person. So mywarning is, if you own an electrical bike and wishto repair it there, think twice! They will book yourappointment only to arrive and be told by Mr.Philip that your electrical bike is a motorcycle(even though all parts are bike parts) as he escortsyou out the door with a blink of an eye, telling younot to come back again. Apart from that everyoneelse that works there is exceptionally nice, as wellcurrent and past repairs have always been donevery well even on this electrical bike Mr. Philipdeemed a motorcycle.

Purchased Orbea Rise H15, I did my 1st ride Tuesday, the Ebike is everything I wish, light, responsive, feels more like a normal mtb bike, barely used 20% for 22km trail ride.Merci TEAM E2!

I wouldn’t go there if you speak English. My husband got service on the same bike as mine no problem , speaking French. The guy refused to even look at mine , over the phone. I spoke English as I know the vocabulary for bicycles better in this language. Anyhow , thanks for nothing.
