this school has been horrible for my mental health, it has brought me nothing but pain and suffering for the 4 semesters I have completed here

Literally the most temperamental school I've ever been to. Horrible people, fine staff, horrible vice principle and head staff. :(

Sir Guy Carlton School is a school meant to allow those that want to make strives in the trades. Now while the school has solid programs, much of the staff simply do not have the skills to handle children. While I guarantee your child will have times of frustration dealing with the staff here and other students, there programs could make it worth the wild. I do not recommend however.

really amazing teachers in glp at sir guy the staff in glp cares about the students also there is a teacher that is really awosme and his name is todd morton he was a guidance councellor last year and now he works in the bip class. i want to say a huge thank you to ms.tran and ms.ismail from b group and mr.arscott ms.kaur and ms.coppins from c group and ms.russell and ms.migliore from d group and ms.owens and ms.campeau from a group and ms.mckenzie and ms.sauve from e group and ms.clark and ms.marks from f group. all of these teachers work in the general learning program and are really amazing including mr.gerig the glp gym teacher and ms.zibage the world of work teacher.

Nice area, lots of parking around the school. City buildings not far, as is Baseline bus station.

This school has helped thousands of students with learning disabilitys graduated and move on to great things .

I sorta liked the school, there are things sometimes that made me uncomfortable, but we have two nice Vice Principals who handled the situations that happened in either the halls or classrooms. However, people sometimes don't give everyone with respect, if we have a kindness program at our school, then the school will be a much more welcoming & safer place for future students to attend. The teachers even can talk to students if they're dealing with an issue too. However I didn't get all the applied courses I needed to go to College and the teachers just ignored me when I have an issue or something has happened to me like I have several things happening to me here that are horrible. I'm still trying to figure out if I should stay there or going to a different high school, I would suggest that I should go to a different high school if I'm having another bad time here or have a kindness program going on to teach a majority of the school to be kind to others.
