Gateway Alliance Church

Outstanding performance. Went to crosspoint for few months then decided to try this out and this place has to be one of the best places in Edmonton and much more room and just a beautiful amazing worship place and amazing band. Definitely coming back every week !

My experience of this church isn’t good the members are poorly managed. I joined a group and the guy was clearly intoxicated and smelled of it. Another group some odd man who was awkward and rude. You are not saving souls here your holding your members hands as you walk them to hell.

When to their Xmas Service and have been coming back ever since. Up beat church with a casual atmosphere. Lots of young families. All the staff and volunteers are sooo friendly and helpful.

Our first visit to Gateway on Sunday. We were greeted warmly and genuinely when we came in and felt truly at home. Our youngest enjoyed kids church, and we received a profound 2020 message from the lead Pastor that was timely and just what we needed to hear. We will be back!!!

Ive only been here for an event. Regardless, I think and from what I've heard, the worship seems like a concert. My friend also told me that she went with her sister and someone in the congregation said to her flat out that Im glad we're not a church that goes into the bible in depth." Even listening to the messages online

I've attended a couple of services so far and this Church is really like no other. Everyone is so friendly and helpful the moment you walk in the door. The service is upbeat and interesting and the whole place has a really modern feel.

I recently converted and since this church was near my house I tried it out.I went there a total 2 times; first time by myself, and second time with my 5 year old son.Well I thought first I liked it, especially the concert style worship and ted-ed style preach. But I felt somehow uncomfortable.So I came home and thought about why did I feel that way.. did the Bible say to pray with fancy music? The answer is no. So my first experience was like, I really enjoyed the concert, but I didn't feel like I was connecting to God. Plus there was NO actual Bibles for us to read, and even if there are, its too dark read anyway.But I gave this church another chance, because I wanted to try the kids church as well for my son, hoping he can receive some meaningful preach from one of the pastors.The first 30 minutes the kids were playing like any other daycares, and then one of the volunteers gathered kids. My son and I were excited to learn about the Bible. But the volunteer lady started some dance videos and asked kids to dance along. At that moment, my son completely lost interest in the program and wanted to go home. For him, he still doesn't know what God is, and why does he have to dance and sing My father is good

Last Sunday, May 15 2022 was myFirst time going to Gateway Alliance Church in person. I wanted to get baptized in case I wasn't as a child. I have been watching online since last December I believe. I really was excited to go in person, although I was a bit nervous going on my own. to be honest, I have never been so welcomed and loved ever. My soul has found a home.Thank you everyone for making me. I will feel welcomed.i will be watching online from my homevforvthevnextc2 weeks.

My wife and I were in Edmonton this weekend for family stuff, and we were getting ready to leave Edmonton to head back to Fairview. I said to my wife let's find a church to go to before we leave. I googleated churches in Edmonton, called a church to see when their service was and no one answered the phone. Scrolled and found Gateway Alliance Church, punched the info into the GPS and off we went. When we arrived and walked in we were so warmly greeted. Like the greeting you would give family that have not been seen for a time or two and we had never been their before. It got cooler because it being dad's day i got a doughnut. Mmmm is there anything a doughnut can't do. But it got even better because we arrived on the day they were installing their lead pastor. To see a young lad (i can call him that because I'm as old as dirt and twice as dusty) being installed as pastor was such a blessing. The message was good and everything was great. I thank God that the church we called did not answer the phone. I love the way God works. We met some awesome people, and they gave us a coffee for the road. Next trip to Edmonton I know where I'm going. If you are reading this and have never been there...GO, they will treat you like family. Not the dysfunctional type of family but the loving and caring type of Family. Thanks God, you knocked it out of the ball park...You are so cool. I could add much more but I'll stop here.
