Murtagh Horse

This man is the real deal. My horse Romeo became untrailerable 5 years ago after bad experience and since then claustrophic so that no-one (even 2 really good horse trainers) on dozens of tries has been able to get him on without major sedation. In one 90 minute session DJ worked WITH Romeo on advance and retreat, 2 feet in then 4 feet on a blustery day and got him relaxed in trailer with butt bar buckled in. The knowledge and 'magic' something DJ has at reading horse language allows him to know when to add pressure and when to release consistently letting the horse decide on their own when they are ready.
