Skyline Cabins

We were looking for accommodations last minute in Ingonish and ended up at the Skyline Cabins, and it was great! The owners were incredibly friendly, and when I asked about using the BBQ she gave us utensils, plates and even some napkins! They really worked to make sure everything was perfect. I'm looking forward to visiting again for a longer stay!

Our cabin is either new or newly renovated. All furniture and equipment look new. It is detached from others and thus has certain privacy. It is 3 minutes driving distance from the Cape Breton Highland National Park. Restaurants and a gas station are close by.Microwave, coffee maker, TV and a small fridge are available. There is no kitchen sink though. There is an air conditioner with remote control. Ingonish at night is quite cold in June. We did not use it.The bed is quite comfortable. The place is quiet at night. There is no or little traffic on the main street after 9 PM. Noise is definitely not a concern.The only thing lacking is a nice scenic view. But if this is not a priority, then everything else will be more than satisfactory.Overall, it is a good place to stay if you plan to visit the Cape Breton Highland National Park.

Very nice cabin. The only issue was the A/C in the one room was finicky but otherwise an awesome stay. Definitely the best place we stayed out of three places in Cape Breton

Love this place! They offer cozy little cabins & cottages that are kept very clean, neat & tidy. Private deck, patio table & chairs, satellite TV, soft beds, small kitchenette with everything you need & the new owners are super friendly & go out of the way to make sure your stay is superb!! We've stayed here both times we've visited Cape Breton & we will return again.Highly recommended!!!!

We stayed in mid of June 2022 and the place is so clean, bathroom is updated, no noise and good restaurant is just across the street. 10 minutes to the gondola at cape smokey. On top of that, Wally, the owner, helped us to find a place to fix the problem with the tire of our car. Overall we have such a satisfactory experience staying at this place. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We loved our stay at Skyline Cabins. This is our 4th visit & usually our go to place to stay when in Ingonish. Location is excellent- amazing restaurant right across the street & the beach is only a few minutes away. Cabins are lovely- quiet, comfy bed, really nice bathroom & everything is so clean. Each cabin also has a heat pump so we were able to be comfortable in this heat! Our hosts were also super friendly! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to stay.

We stayed at this location over the July 1st long weekend and the cabins were fantastic! Very updated and had everything that you would require. Very well look after and modern. Can not say enough about the owners, they are wonderful people!Highly recommend this location for a quick get away weekend or extended stay. Will not be disappointed.

This is the second time we stay at this location. Great place to stay for few nights if you are spending to explore the east side of Cape Breton National Park. This place is generally clean and well maintained.. They have outdoor BBQ on site so it's convenient.Owners are very friendly and hands on. They do not just hire local staffs to do work, but you can see them doing maintenance on site every morning.
