Excellent spot to enjoy nice dinner and drink inside or out. Overlooking brigus. Food was fantastic. Service was even better. The waitress Nancy and the owner were very attentive.. highly recommended by me

We had a great experience at The Riseover. The food was delicious and hot. The amount of food per plate was very generous. The fish and chips was so fresh and the batter was crispy. The tartar sauce was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The staff was very attentive as well. The view is also beautiful and there is deck seating which is a nice option. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Food was tasty. Great view. You can eat inside or on deck (we ate outside). We had: cod tongues (the best my friend ever had!), I had cod tacos. There was a long wait due to the fact our server forgot to ring in our order. But he, and the lady training him apologized when they became aware of the mistake, and offered us our desserts, very tasty and filing as well! Blueberry bread pudding and apple bread pudding. My first time there. Will recommend and be back.

This restaurant is in a wonderful location in Brigus with amazing views. See pictures taken from the outdoor deck. The food was good but the service was very slow due to under staffing (we see this at so many restaurants).Unfortunately, while we were dining on the deck, a gust of wind literally picked up the umbrella at our table and it flew across the deck hitting another table and smashing a glass of water. How no one on the deck was injured is a miracle. The owner of this restaurant is negligent for not having weighted bases to secure the umbrellas. Hopefully, the owner will take responsibility and install weighted umbrella bases.

We didn’t have any food, but the waitress was friendly and the beer was cold! Great atmosphere and would recommend a quick stop if in the area.

This restaurant has a great view and decent pub style food. The fish tacos and fish and chips were good, but not exceptional. The nachos were up to par - a big serving and satisfying with fresh jalapeños. I would think of this as good quality pub food, but with the added benefit of the views and awesome patio overlooking the Brigus harbour. Not much parking and it does get busy on nice days in the summer. I would recommend a reservation if you want to dine inside as there isn’t much indoor seating.
