I used AHC to buy a new townhouse and I'm very excited to start my home ownership journey.The process was very easy and all of my questions were answered. There are great incentives and amazing finishes to choose from!If your looking to purchase a new home and don't have the full down payment saved I recommend looking into Attainable homes.

I called them at least 15 times on their working hours but no one answered the call. Left multiple voice messages but no one returned a call. Unprofessional behaviour could be seen at the initial steps. I’ll avoid such people. Instead will pay more somewhere else who respect their clients at least

This program has been a HUGE financial burden for me. The idea behind the program sounds fantastic - but if the property you buy doesn’t appreciate, you’re in big trouble. I have been in my condo for 7 years, and if I was to sell it today with the real estate market as hot as it is, I would have to pay Attainable Homes $7500, in addition to paying out my mortgage $10,000. Run from this program as FAST as you can!

It's a Dream come true. We all are in different phases of our life. Planning to get a down payment for a house in time consuming job. This program has helped me reach goals with its rent to own strategy. House is a great investment Attainable Homes has made it possible . Cheers for Attainable.

Overall this is a good program, however there has been some things that were a disappointment. Some of the appliances they purchase are not exactly the best and you may end up having to replace them down the road sooner rather than later. There was a parking concern and I don’t exactly know what happened but just make sure you know all the ins and outs before you sign on the dotted lines.

Great program to get into, terrible program to get out of. The need for independent appraisal and then more money on top of that is insane. Exiting instructions and advice is limited at best and try to reach a human is impossible. Email is not the only form of communication and I shouldn't have to drive to a sales centre to get answers.

We entered into the Attainable Homes program in 2015. Our family was expanding and we needed a bigger space. Attainable Homes paid the equity contribution required which we do not have at the time. The process of getting our townhome was seamless, the staff were courteous and professional. Now, we are out of the program and glad to recommend Attainable Homes to low income earners without equity contribution looking to get their first home in Calgary. Thank you Attainable Homes for being there during our time of need.

I am really glad I got into the attainable home program. I went from renting to attainable homes in 2012. I lived in my Unit for 4 years and sold it and received 75% of profit. I have since owned a duplex and moved on to a detached house. I highly recommend it if you want to get out of renting and have good credit

Attainable Home Calgary is just that. Attainable. They bridged the gap of owning my first home, breaking the cycle of horrible apartment living conditions and overpriced rent.The team stickhandles the majority of the hard work from start to finish in helping you get approved, through the paperwork and finally into your new home and their coordination between mortgage brokers and lawyers was appreciated as I would have been lost without their guidance and collaborative efforts.Another value add that you likely won't find anywhere else is the time they take to educate you on owning the home. What I thought was a quick orientation, turned into a multi-hour tour going through the intricacies of the home from appliance use, to best practices, and maintenance of furnace and more. They really take the time to encourage a healthy start to your home ownership.I can't speak for all their properties, but the one I specifically received despite located on the further reaches of the city was supported with literally everything a single or family would need. Bike paths, shopping, schools, playgrounds, fields, and a thriving new community where my neighbors actually share their name and converse.I highly recommend that if you're looking to break the cycle of renting and start owning to inquire with AHC. They've definitely changed my outlook on life for the better.
