Giovanni Caboto Outdoor Pool
Unfortunately this outdoor pool is gross, it's very dirty. The lifeguard pointed out the pools 1 skimmer is broken, and when I looked at it I saw that it was completely duct tape. She also said that the pools vacuum has been broken for 2 years.I won't be going back.I also do not blame the lifeguards, it's not their job to clean. I'm not sure how to bring this issue to the city but I'm going to try.

Changing rooms smell of urine and the pool had a lot of bugs and leaves very over crowded too with the changing rooms not being split it’s a universal changing room

The smell of urine is overwhelming in the change room and according to a woman I spoke with, this is always the case. There are also chunks of paint peeling from the ceiling. Once you make your way to the pool, be prepared for more peeling paint, this time upside the pool itself. You will also see hair, hair elastics and other debris floating in the pool. How they can rationalize opening a public pool in this condition I don't know. The city should either clean and repair it or close it. I recommend you find another pool to swim in.

This is actually a 50 m long outdoor pool. Unfortunately, it lacks the starting blocks, but you are allowed to dive into the water to start. It is open for free lane and leisure swim during the COVID-19 pandemic, and your can take the 512 streetcar to Lansdowne to get to it.

What a gem of a place. The outdoor pool is a great place to relax and tan without having to leave the city, and get sand all over your things. Just next door is Palermo ice cream, tres Mari, or Portuguese bakeries just further west. Honestly, this is as good as it gets in toronto. Thank you all of us tax payers of toronto. We can have nice things too like in Europe. Let’s not let any politician convince us that it should be privatized.

I've been here a couple of times and i could say it's a great public pool. It's perfect for a warm day. It is great to have a pool in the neighborhood. I highly recommend you to come and jump in. I'd like to thank to all the staff for helping with the maintenance and for being so nice.

Just wish the slide was open.(closed because of covid) The water is a good temp and it's clean. Always enjoy this pool.

Got a pretty bad ear infection last weekend. No lockers so you have to keep everything with you on deck. Plus, for some reason, someone thought it would be a good idea to get rid of male and female change rooms, so now everyone is forced to change in the same space - kind of awkward, to say the least.The lifeguards seem to be mostly teenagers who think they're cooler than a power-crazy cop.There's also a really nice slide which is virtually NEVER used - I sense that it would anger the staff to actually do more than sit around looking cool.Oh, yeah, and seemed to be closed half the time.
