Amazing place, very quiet and well hidden. Hard to find because there are not signs pointing you to this place, but once you get there, you will enjoy every second. Make sure you have proper hiking boots, running shoes are ok if is not raining.

My girlfriend and I did this trail last Thursday and the temperature was hot. Nice trail but because it was very dry during the 2 last weeks, the roots and rocks really stucked out.Really nice view of the St Lawrence River and the archipelago of the Îles aux Grues" at the "Cap Brûlé" view point.We took the trail "Anse de la Montée du Lac" comming back and had a specular view north on top of an observation tower.All in all

Spectacular hiking, great colors and the whole area is fantastic at the end of summer. Leafs colors can be also great at the end of September, plenty of easy enough trails and I'm looking forward to come again. Mostly dog friendly area, well marked.
