Golf Town

This store is massive. Has tons of items, putting practice location and virtual golf. Most staff are extremely friendly, non-pressuring and knowledgeable. As a beginner it's nice to go to a store where staff eagerly help you even with the silliest of novice questions and most of the staff here did that exceptionally. The cashier unfortunately left a sour end-experience and dropped this from 5 to 3 stars. When the cashier, Connie, said the price I initially heard incorrectly it (as I hear it as double the marked price) and asked her to repeat to which she did and I thank her and made a quip about mishearing and she went yes you very much did" in a very rude and annoyed tone and eye gesture. It's a nice store and will be back but hopefully that cashier is having a better day if she's at the till when I'm buying."

staff has plenty of knowledge, very kind and didn’t charge me for changing the grip. has all golf needs, clubs, bags, covers, gloves and all. If you aren’t sure of the club you want they have a golf simulator to test out all the clubs you want.

I went to this Golf Town location to cut my club - im new to golf and i tried to come in to cut my driver because it felt long but Winston stopped me to ask why - he then proceeded to take me to the virtual box to measure my swing and examine it - Winston took the extra time to correct not just my opinion on cutting my club but gave me pointers on positioning, stance and everything in between and by the end of it i ended up with much better stats on my driver - im not sure what Winstons actual position is, but he deserve high praise and the utmost respect. Big thanks to you Winston! You were a huge help.

2 times I've gone for a tip adapter change and both times they've *ucked it up. $300+ shaft is marked up, as well as the adapter.

I have shopped there many time’s and I have never had a bad experience, great staff.

Edit: should have edited this sooner but I returned with the clubs that were wrongfully packaged and the management went above and beyond to compensate me for my displeasure as well as my long drive to return to the storeSubject to change: but so far extremely unhappy. We there last night to purchase a set of clubs that was on sale for $1699 had been reading up on them for a few weeks and finally decided to pull the trigger on it. Arrived at the store and walked right over to get the touch and feel of the clubs. Had an employee come up almost immediately to offer assistance (only reason this isn’t a one star review currently). But I told the employee I wanted to buy them but I was going to pick up a few other items while I was in the store so he brought a boxed set of clubs to the front counter so they were waiting for me. Grabbed my other items and cashed out. Drove the hour long drive home and decided to transfer things from my old bag to the new one but upon opening the box to see the new clubs again I realized it was a completely different set that was on sale for $500 less than the clubs I paid for.I will be calling once they open to try to get this resolved and will edit this based on how the situation is handled. As of right now I feel I wasted a 2 hour drive and $40 of gas for nothing. And I know it Will turn into 4 hours of driving and $80 of gas to get it fixed. Pretty unhappy right now.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, very helpful to a newbie like me

I went to this store last Monday at 4:15 to look at drivers. I was unaware an appointment was needed for the simulators, I was upset with this but understood why, and did not make a fuss at all. After looking at a few I decided to buy one (hoping I would like it) as I needed it ASAP.Upon walking to the checkout, the employee I previously talked to informed me if I waited 10 minutes he would let me on the simulator after the last booking of he day. I was ecstatic. I tried 3 drivers and walked out with the Srixon z785. After 2 rounds with it, I couldn't be happier with the performance.I didn't get the employee's name, but wish I did. Thank you for going above and beyond, the customer service was spectacular.

Staff here were amazing! Very helpful and let my nephew test out a junior set yesterday for awhile till he was sure about it. Thank you Golf Town staff yesterday for all your help!
