I experienced an illiberal and abusive organization. When I complained they called me a 'victim'. In writing, after minimizing and trivializing my concerns. If you want your seniors housed with care and compassion, go anywhere else. Seriously. Documentation available upon request.

For the past 3 years we have done contracting work for Calgary Heritage Housing. Our experience working with them has been great. Every staff member is attentive, well-informed and proficient. I could only assume this standard carries throughout the whole company.

Calgary Heritage Housing is an incredible organization that until very recently I surprisingly had never heard about!Their mandate is to provide quality, safe housing for older people in Calgary that have an income less than $40,000 +-.Each of their residents have their own apartment so it is NOT a shared accommodation or Seniors Home.The charge for rent is very simple. They charge 30% on of your annual income in equal monthly installments.First you apply and then they will take you on a tour of their properties. They then interview you and ensure that you are credit worthy as well. The interview process is very friendly and conducted by caring people. My client was interviewed by Yuho Kim. He had such a calm and caring demeanor that the process was quite enjoyable.There are times where availability is limited so if you or someone you know wishes to apply, earlier is better. To live in their residences you cannot own a property so if you do own one then you must show that you have it listed for sale.They are even changing the flooring, window coverings and painting the unit for my client! Top notch!John William Wade and Associates highly recommends this organization for Seniors that may have a home but cannot afford or are physically unable to take care of it on their budget.
