The Car Finder Used Vehicle Dealership

I spent several weeks testing out a nice truck and working with them on a deal. In my opinion it wasn't a very quick an easy process. One thing that really surprised me was that there was a lien against the vehicle and this wasn't disclosed to me. I went to Service Ontario to get a Used Vehicle Information Package (UVIP) and that is when I found out. This issue delayed the closing of the deal and was a bit sketchy. My understanding is that car dealerships should not be selling vehicles with a lien on them. I checked the lien a couple of weeks ago and luckily it has been removed.I was also a little skeptical about the state of repair of the vehicle. A number of issues were resolved after I took it to the dealership and to a trusted mechanic for a quick look before purchase. I'd highly recommend you do the same. I don't know why they didn't take care of some of the issues before putting it on the market. Now, four months after purchase, I have found that there were a number of other things that needed to be fixed that were not disclosed to me and should have been obvious to the dealer. For example:1) 4x4 transfer case problem (which they fixed two months later, but I had to take it to the mechanic and do all the work to get this done). Major issue at first.2) Trailer brake system is faulty.3) Exhaust manifold has a broken screw and emits fumes into the vehicle. Annoying issue and costly to fix.3) Transmission is clunking and will probably need to be replaced sometime in the future. Annoying issue now; major issue later on.4) Tensioner belt, A/C belt, and pulley all needed to be replaced.5) A/C fluid leak.I had to visit the dealership a number of times and follow-up on everything quite a bit. I guess that's the price you pay for getting a used vehicle, but it is clear that customer service is not their number one priority. Have to say my experience working with The Car Finder has been very unusual and frustrating. At the end of the day I really wanted the vehicle, so I took the risk, but be careful when you work with them and make sure you know what to look out for. I'm not saying they are bad to work with, but don't buy a car from them unless you know what you are doing.This company is also associated with Stellam Grand Prix and Scrap My Car. Bought my car back in November, I dealt with Bruno. Things went smoothly until I actually had the car. He failed to tell me who to make the cashier's cheque out to. So naturally I made it out to The Car Finder". The day after I had the car I received a call from Bruno saying that I needed to get a new cashier's cheque made out to a completely different company. I had to go out of my way and use my own time due to their lack of information. This is a very unprofessional mistake and if you do purchase a car there

I am so beyond happy that I decided to go to The Car Finder. I originally had just sent an email and I stated what kind of car I was looking for and gave a model and everything, and they found me something EVEN way better than what I originally had wanted. They spent time and energy, even after store hours on communicating with me about what my options were and the timeline of everything. They found me my beautiful car and they completely outdid my expectations. I am over the top happy. I couldn't be more happy than I am and it's all because of them. 100% go to them for your next vehicle and you won't regret it. Thank you SO much guys for helping me!

Great service, Bruno was very helpful and went out of his way to get the car in the best shape possible, even cleaned the headlights so they look brand new and rims to place on top of the tires w rims! Highly recommend. Their service is professional and respectful, no pushing sales or pressuring and genuinely want to help you find the best car and option. And the car runs great.

Bad experience with a lady in this location. With having this type of employee , the business will fall down soon. Her behaviour was against Canadian culture.

Crooks..kept my 1000 down-payment after telling me they needed more down-payment..from 500 then 1000 then saying the bank wanted another 2800..don't deal with this shady low class dealership
