Very friendly staff. We get in on 8:30PM and had to wait half an hour to have a table. They gently proposed us to wait at the bar of the restaurant. Typic scottish food, very tasty. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a beautiful terrace with a view on the lake. Booking recommended.

Wonderful pub, staff were very helpful and welcoming. Go a table straight away, the food was delicious and there was sausages for our dog.

So, some of the members of staff was not great at all, some of them was really nice - the reason we have left in the bill service charge, just for good ones. Food was not good at all; we’ve paid £57 for a lunch, and “steak” about £18 just for a pot with meat and chips was so bad! I didn’t even eat it. My partner loved his food. Starter was amazing!! In average 3 stars max. Not sure about the other places around, but I would go somewhere else.

Came to this bar on my first night in Fort William.Great food and drinksThe staff worked very hardThe staff are very friendly and efficientI enjoyed the food here so much we came back the following nightI had the steak pie and chipsIt was beautiful and tasty followed by cheesecakeThe bar is very cleanThe toilet was clean and quite impressive for a bar.We were able to have a drink at the end and not rushed like some places.5 stars from me

Great outside terrace for a few well deserved post hike pints, dog friendly too.Food was very nice and the kids meals were a good size. Good selection on beers. Will visit again. The queue for drinks in the whiskey bar was long but that wouldn't deter me from going again. Could do with another member of bar staff.

Most staff very welcoming and friendly, our waitress the complete opposite. Even when I politely asked if it's possible to substitute the slice of blue cheese for ANY alternative I was told it's not possible. It was only after my obvious bewilderment that she checked with the chef and 5 minutes later returned and said it's okay.Most of the food was very nice and priced reasonably, although my partner's chips were anaemic and not at all appetising.

At the moment, they have a 4.2 rating and deserve more! Hence, our 5.Busy place, Nice atmosphere, good choice of music, whiskeys and beers, we particularly enjoyed the haggis, burgers look and are great too. Prices are friendly and perfect for the quality you're getting. Staff is friendly, but a little busy as the place was completely full.Tip for the owner: make a whiskey list with a short description of what you're getting, so tourists know what to pick.

Very Nice Fine. The pub we were looking wasn’t open so we wandered around High Street looking for something and stumbled into the Ben Nevis. I asked about the steak pie and the barmaid smiled and said it was very good. She was wrong. It was awesome. My friend had her heart set on a Cullen Skink and wasn’t disappointed. To top it off, I had a pint of West 4. Just one complaint. The internet didn’t work otherwise I’m thinking about coming back for fish and chips and my friend was eyeing the mussels.
