One of the best food spots in Ottawa. Price is reasonable, service is great, and the food is just amazing. I don’t think there was nothing that I didn’t like and would recommend everything 10/10 times.

Reservation issues!! Before talking about food I want to complain about the reservation system on that restaurant; One Sunday afternoon we call the restaurant and asked that do we need to make a reservation for dinner time; we were told we don’t need to make any reservations; however upon arrival we found that place was fully booked.We arrived around 6:30pm and we were told that around 7:30pm they can provide us seats. We waited outside and went in 7:25pm and found out the group that supposed to arrive after 7:30pm was given preference over us and were seated!!!! We waited another 20 minutes more; this is very inconvenient as we had kids with us and we got very late.Now, talking about foods. Foods are good and nice presentation, plus it’s a high end price for sure; good part is they do maintain the quality of foods.Lamb Mandy was delicious and I would highly recommend.The French fries were not so good as other Arabian restaurants.Salads were average but fresh so be mindful before ordering.Mixed platter was very satisfactory as the meats were tender and flavourful.Apart from the reservation mess the whole experience was very pleasant and enjoyable.

The food was okay, but unfortunately, the tajine was quite disappointing. The other dishes we ordered were decent, but nothing exceptional.The service was a mixed bag. Our server was friendly, but we felt pressured to order more food even though we had already ordered enough for our table. We appreciated their attentiveness, but it was a little too much at times.Not to mention charging extra for water which is typically free.

By far this was one of the best restaurants experience in great dining amazing owner hard-working staff variety of excellent food I would bring all my loved ones here I recommend my best friends to this place!

I wasn't expecting a metre-long dish when we ordered the 1-metre kabab; I was worried we didn't order enough food, but now we're taking 2 containers to go (amazing for what we paid)! There was what my in-laws called a Sufi dance after the meal, and it was really neat! The atmosphere was really cool as well; they used dry ice to cause a fog/mist on each person's table and during the dance as well. This was a really fun experience, and we will definitely be coming here again! :)

Amazing food! Amazing service! It was my first time trying Syrian food and it did not disappoint. Had their lamb with rice, salad and knafeh and it was so good! Their place gives a very warm feel and is beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend!

Good place to try out some traditional Syrian food. The food tasted good but the serving techniques were what I went there for. The portions and service could be improved a bit. The experience is a must try. Be mindful that they only have bottled water and do add a service charge.

I went today as it was my first visit to this location, The menu Looked so good so I wanted to try everything. First of all, the service was very bad, the waitress brought the food and placed it on the edge of our table that we couldn’t reach it, I asked her to bring it closer and she didn’t listen. Second of all, the food was really bad, the fish on charcoal was cold and raw, it was disgusting that I couldn’t even look at it. Also the kebbeh was so burned and I couldn’t finish one piece. Everything was bad and not fresh at all, even the French fries was cold and that didn’t make any sense. It was the worst experience ever . Finally, the rice was burned and didn’t taste like anything else. I don’t understand how such a restaurant that should represent Meddle-astern food, and the food is Not how it supposed to taste .

The food was incredible and the presentation was beautiful. Everything was very fresh, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The lamb was our favourite. The portions were generous. Great service as well. Will definitely be going back.
