Dr segal did a great job I had a mastectomy of my left breast he has always explained everthing clearly with alot of care& compassion and always answered all our questions with alot of thought &explained it to us very clearly he's very professional, very caring,compassionate & down to earth person I very highly recommend him

Dr. Segal is a great surgeon. He did my inguinal hernia repair in 2021, and was patient, helpful, and kind when addressing all of my concerns. When responding to my many questions, he was detailed in his explanations and conservative in his recommendations, and generally made me feel well-taken care of both prior to surgery and following my procedure. My scarring is minimal, and my experience was overall positive. I’m grateful that I found a quality surgeon who was able to correct the defect and make me feel comfortable in the process. He is a professional who takes his job seriously and values his patients’ well-being, and I’m grateful for his help.

I started going to Segal 10 years ago for my first botox treatment. After a year I started seeing a new Dr. and realized Segal was giving me way more botox than I required. The new Dr. administered far less botox, with the same results, this saved me so much money! I assumed it was not intentional, and it was probably a case of him just not being well educated on placement. No hard feelings.Recently I was scheduled with Segal for a scope to ensure I do not have cancer in a spot where I have an ulcer. I am mask exempt but I wore my organic cotton mask to get through the preliminary parts of the procedure. When I got to the hospital, I was urged to wear a blue hospital mask; earlier in the morning I read the studies out of Germany on graphene masks with toxins, carciongens, and micro fibres, so I did not want to change out of my cotton mask. The next day there was a Canada wide recall on the same graphene masks. They were distributed across Canada to hospitals, daycares, and preschools. By the time Segal showed up to talk to me, I was in the hospital gown ready for the procedure. I explained to segal why I was concerned about the masks and he told me he did not know if these masks had graphene, but I had to wear one otherwise he would not perform THE SCOPE DOWN MY THROAT. I did not want to change into the mask, I was scared. He refused me medical service so I left.I made a BC Human Rights complaint and never heard from segal again.I ran into him at a T Town bakery a few days ago, where he made it very clear he did not care about my health by telling me he only cares about his patients, and I am not one of them. This prompted me to write this review. I thought doctors took an oath to do no harm? I do not understand his treatment of me, considering I am mask exempt, but wore one even though I felt as though I was suffocating.The nurses were kind and understanding. I do not understand his stance on this because I was about to be put out for a SCOPE DOWN MY THROAT? He kept repeating Fraser Health Mandates This
