Absolute delicious food, they never disappoint! The place is lively and always has something going on. I have been here for trivia and music bingo and it was loads of fun! The bartenders are absolutely delightful and super knowledgeable! They also have a lovely fireplace.

A real neighbourhood pub ! Comfortable place, music not to loud, comfortable bar. And a great selection beers. Would enjoy a larger selection of local beer, however I was happy.Tuesday night is trivia night.

I do love going to 5th Street bar and grill. Unfortunately I could only give the food a three star because after many years of going there they have never updated their menu. And there are only two or three gluten-free options and almost no dairy-free options available. They do make an amazing dairy-free shaft though

I believe our server was Jenny. She was amazing she moved us from our original table to a nicer enclosed patio one. Her service was top notch. The wood-fired pizzas were incredible. Amazing crust!

The lady who served me was absolutely wonderful! Check back in often, made sure I was comfortable and had my food served in a timely manner. Very well done, will be back again

Round two & Redemption (from August 2022): We thought we would give this place another shot and glad we did! The food was spectacular and service was on point!!From 6 months ago (January 2022): The great venue and atmosphere was enhanced by the fantastic service and food!!! The wait- staff were amazing! So much so that we came back the next night after a long evening's work (6 hours) at exactly the same time, but sadly to find out the kitchen staff decided to shut down early to have a few pops. The night before was fantastic, the next night... not so much.

Classic Victoria sports bar and a neighborhood staple. Nice, laid back atmosphere with good service and a great range of food and drinks with daily specials. A great place to catch a game over a few brews with friends. Prices are still reasonable compared to other establishments.

Maybe I'm ordering the wrong items, or my taste buds are wonky?Highlights:Great serviceAtmosphereLocationSaw a number of group tables which looked happyWheelchair accessible (looked like it to me, which is nice)Extra things to consider:ParkingMy experiences won't really stop me from coming back. We have family dinners for peoples birthdays and we manage to rotate as best as we could around restaurants in Victoria, so I'm sure someone will choose this place as a venue again.Overall, family members (party of 9) mostly were pleased with their meal. All of us was happy with the service. We didn't feel forgotten, or felt like we were inconveniencing them. Atmosphere is always consistent and warm when you walk in. The outdoor patio looks comfortable.My only complaint is the food... never seems to be enough in fries (ok sorry, I guess potatoes are going up in price). My husband ordered the strips and fries (strips are always good, with the honey mustard), but the fries portion keeps seemingly getting smaller every year we come back. My pizza was good, but just good; seemed more like a fancy flat bread. It felt like it was alright, but felt like something was missing. The Artichoke dip was flavourful, no complaints there- nicely cheesy, had good consistency, didn't feel like we were really saving on portions so much.Since the place does get busy, it's good to maybe note that parking could get tricky. We had to park a little further down at the residential street.Again, maybe I'm just nit-picking, but I'll probably be back. I will just say the service is always good.

Very much looking forward to coming here again. The atmosphere and decor were stellar. I had the 1/4 chicken and rib dinner and everything was delectable, including the coleslaw which usually never finds its way off the plate. The gravy was out of this world and everything on the menu was very reasonably priced.
