I happened upon Kasandy at a street festival in Vancouver! Such a pleasant experience, no pressure to buy, lovely products...I LOVE my sandals with yellow beading, they always grab a compliment or two and are so different from everything out there!

This is a great store. Products are beautiful and reasonably priced for handmade products. Owner is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and she is making change happen re: women's rights in Kenya where she brings her products in from. Overall, impressed on every level. Keep up the good work!

I was just going into this shop to look around with my friend. I wasn't going to get anything until I found the most beautiful earrings...just arrived at the store & not in their system yet. Jackee (the owner) and two other beautiful staff really hyped me up when I told them that this might be perfect for my graduation.Once Jackee said she was really proud of me, I got emotional and felt special. I felt even more special when she gave me a discount as a graduation gift. I loved that the staff are all so kind and empowering others. I definitely recommend visiting because there is stunning jewelry pieces and wonderful products from underemployed artists.

Amazing handmade artisan pieces and lovely community! My favourite’s pair of socks came from here- they are so comfy and thick. I also have a few of their jewellery pieces and love that they are made from recycled materials.

I like their coffee, especially the Columbia dark roast. It is direct fair trade and tastes delicious. I also love their adorable colourful little heart rocks with inspiring messages: perfect for a small pick-me-up gift for a friend that needs some cheering up. This store is on Granville Island and offers a delight to the eyes - well spaced attractive displays with many unique handcrafted items. The staff can tell you where the monetary support is going and they are very helpful in finding just the right gift for those you are buying for.
