ALLAY Calm Canine

A fantastic group of people who love dogs and really do their best to help you and your dog live in harmony. I’ve been taking group classes with my dog (1yr) and have seen so much improvement. I’m also going to be working with Jenna further on some behaviour pieces that happen at home. I have been so grateful for the learning and kind teaching environment, I’m learning how to communicate with my dog in a way he understands and it has made his life and mine so much better!

Would definitely recommend Allay Canine. My 11 month husky/cross stayed for a 2 week board and train and wow, totally transformed pup. Muskwa went in with a few behavioural issues and now a calmer, happy pup. Jenna did amazing job and her team training him. Now he loves going to daycare there.Cathy

Allay Canine is a very professional and beneficial training group that taught and helped me so much with my dog Stanley. They bend backwards to help with every possible question you have and give all their efforts. They have a wonderful program that uses all different kinds of training methods and tools to fit each dogs personality :) I would suggest going to Allay Canine for your training needs. Paige and Jenna are absolutely amazing women!!

My dog, Pat, is reactive on leash and we couldn't walk him in a group with other dogs. We did some sessions with Allay this summer and now we can walk him in a group no problem. The leash we got, a transitional, is literally a life changer. Can't say enough good things!

I have nothing but good things to say about allay calm, Jenna and Paige are both such amazing trainers they have help me build such a strong bond with my shepherd Odin whether it’s leash manners or building his confidence or some fun tricks we have achieved excellence in all departments, now as we being our journey with our new addition to the family I couldn’t imagine doing it without them by my side!

I've used Allay Calm for training for my two Great Danes, and have nothing but good things to say about them. The trainers are nothing but kind, informative, and fair. I would 100% recommend them and their classes. My dogs are living their best behaved lives thanks to the skills they have set us up with.

ALLAY Calm Canine claims their training is based off of the relationship between handler and dog on their website but doesn't specifically state their training methods used anywhere on the website. They used mainly leash pressure (pulling on a dog's collar on the neck until it obeyed) for all the behaviours I witnessed them instruct. They told the class that if a dog was not learning something, it was the dog's fault, and not the trainer's fault. I would not recommend this training group to dog owners seeking a force free/R+ environment. The instructors seemed kind and polite, but the website was misleading, and they stopped responding to my emails completely.
