Dr. Daphne Cheng, Optometrist

Avoid at all costs. The front desk woman is horrible and yells at people. Very impatient and keeps saying she’s busy to every patient. I see her busy doing nothing. They need to get rid of her, as I’m sure there a ton of great people out there with good customer service.

Our Family scheduled eye examinations and met with Dr Daphne Cheng. Overall the staff was efficient attentive and Dr Cheng delivered a professional and thorough consultation. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Bad front desk service. Called to book an appointment and replied with a impatient tone. She mentioned she was busy and can't schedule a time at that moment and I said I can call back later. She said she was busy whole day, the only way is to wait for her call when she is free. What? I meant u are the only busy person in the world?

Daphne is very quick, precise and thorough with her eye exams. I went in to see whether I have an eye infection and she checked a lot of other things to check my health. The prescription she gave worked effectively. I would definitely recommend Daphne if you are looking for a Optometrist that cares and does a thorough job!

This is my first time at this clinic. I believe there were two optometrists, but my appointment was with Daphne Cheng. Overall she was very helpful and caring. She was very patient with me since I had a lot of questions. She answered all of them in a way that I could understand. My previous optometrist would usually push me out as soon as she could and since she also sold glasses, she would push me to buy her products. But I don't think Dr. Cheng is affiliated with anyone so she didn't advertise anything. She will be my new long term optometrist. Definitely recommend. =)

Daphne is a very patient optometrist that is willing to answer all my questions.One day, I noticed that my eyes were getting dry and itchy and can no longer wear contact lenses for an extended period of time. I came to Daphne and she mentioned that I may have been wearing contacts for too many years and have also developed an eye allergy . She recommended me some drops which greatly improved my symptoms and recommended more lubricant contact lenses. I appreciated that she was also willing to give me free contact lens samples.

The vision therapy services provided here are very good. Dr. Daphne Cheng and Garrick are both kind and patient - thank you for making the best of a terrible situation!

This is the first time in 15 years that I've switched over to a new optometrist and I'm so glad that I did! Dr. Daphne Cheng was not only very friendly and helpful/patient in answering all my questions, the quality of patient care is evident in her professionalism.I have been wearing glasses for 23 years and always wanted to switch over to using contact lenses, however, since I have pretty high astigmatism, the idea of wearing contacts have been brushed aside many times by previous optometrists. Not only did Dr. Daphne Cheng explain to me how contact lenses work on an eye and addressed concerns I had given prior explanations from the other optometrists (risk of blurriness due to contacts shifting in the eye), she also took the time to teach me how to put on a trial pair, take them off, and even explained the differences between different types of contact lenses (soft vs. hard lens, monthly vs daily, etc). I also have pretty bad hay fever allergies during the spring resulting in very itchy dry or watery eyes daily -- to which Dr. Cheng prescribed me much-needed eye drops.On top of all that, I was also curious whether laser eye surgery would be an option for me, and without hesitation, Dr. Cheng provided me with more details and also a referral to Pacific Laser Eye Centre for a consultation.If you want informative, friendly and helpful service, I highly recommend booking with Dr. Daphne Cheng!

I got an eye injury while on vacation and needed a bandage contact put in my eye. Their office made time to see me right away to check the injury when I got back. The bandage contact also needed to be taken out. I hate the idea of anyone including myself touching my eyes but Dr.Daphne Cheng took out the bandage contact so quickly and gently that it didn’t bother me at all. She even took the time to educate me on my injury and expectations on the healing process. Highly recommend!!
