Working with Ruby at Welfare For Animals has transformed our experience of having dogs. We look after two adopted street dogs in China, who both have complex needs and need a lot of support. Ruby has supported and coached us through separation anxiety, reactiveness, car training, handling and many other scenarios, all the while using accredited positive reinforcement techniques. Our relationship with and understanding of our dogs has changed greatly, and our knowledge has grown. Ruby has shown a high level of care towards us and our animals, and always follows up after lessons by reviewing videos of our training, giving ongoing advice and checking in with us. Having dogs in China can be isolating, but we always feel like Ruby is in our corner, ready to step in and wanting us to succeed. For people who want to build a better relationship with their animals and do right by them, we can't recommend Ruby enough.

Ruby has been a lifeline for us to train our dog. She is knowledgable, passionate, and patient. It was difficult for us to find a dog trainer that was willing to deal with some of our dog's issues, but Ruby didn't hesitate and has helped us tremendously.
