Rickshaw Chinese Food

Have eaten from here many times. It's been fast and hot and always pretty decent. This time I was told there would be an additional $5 charge for delivery as we are outside of their delivery area. I said I've never been charged before and we've ordered from there tons of times (and given good reviews I might add) and she said well you are too far. We are only 7.6 kms away! They would rather lose a $50 sale then wave a $5 delivery fee! We are .6 over. I guess they are doing quite well to turn away business.

1st I would like to address the combination dinner for 1 options, I've never ordered Chinese from a restaurant that didn't have rice and a protein and vegetable option with an egg roll as a combination plate. This place has the weirdest options and rice and an an egg roll isn't one of them. I ordered chicken balls, fried wontons and chowmein noodles . I had to purchase an order of chicken fried rice which was almost the same price as there combination meal. The noodles were bland, only a few chicken balls and they charge .25 for a bag which I didn't get the option of asking if I wanted one or not. And now the best part, I ate dinner at 6pm and by 10:30 I was in the bathroom with explosive diarrhea. I'm glad that is over, and I will never have the opportunity to order from there again as I was visiting from Ontario where we don't charge for paper bags or have weird options for a meal.

When you look on there menu on uber eats they say substitutions cost extra. I called to let them know I'm going to place and order and to place the extra charged. Instead I was yelled at NO SUBSTITUTIONS!! I offered to even contact uber eats support and add an additional charge. All he said is I have to speak to the manager and that person is coming in one hour. I can't eat pork and just wanted to switch the pork to chicken. Was willing to pay extra.

I was tricked by the 9.4 rating on Skip the Dishes!!The spicy ginger beef was not spicy and had no ginger! so I don't know what it is other than bland beef". Bland

So freaking delicious arrived so fast n the food was so hot . Had to let it cool down for a bit.Ordered beef n broccoli in black bean sauce over crispy noodles. Pork fried rice, wonton soup and sweet n sour pork. Definitely will order again .

Delivery was quick ordered 4 dishes for 63$ rice and chow mein were two of the dishes, neither of which had any flavour at all, food was cold and the sweet and sour pork was cold in some spots hot in others like it had been microwaved, where there was meat it was tough and the rest was just batter with sauce, the lemon sauce for the lemon chicken tasted like nothing and was cold jelly, and the breaded chicken had horrible burnt coating and it fell off. I don't reccomend their food this is my second bad experience.

I have never seen such a unprofessional, rude people like theses people who work here or maybe they are owner I guess, stay away from them , looks very dirty and don't take any hygienic massure at all.

From my experience today, ordering on skip the dishes. My food was really good, amazing fried rice, chow mein, spring roll and sweet & sour pork. Would likely order again. Points deducted for the no fortune cookies.

A Icon has died! The same great food, just double the prices! A 30$ meal becomes 45$, Before Tip! Their own staff is horrified and confused by this!
