A wonderful blend of the odd and unusual. Very, very cool place. Lots of crystals, minerals, fossils, meteorites specimens. Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable. Definitely a place to check out.

CAN'T MISS THIS STORE!HAVE TO STOP BY!Just outside Sydney downtown area at the water front but has free parking. There is a little driveway just past Honda dealership on the left and it's on the right. (if coming from downtown)As other people mentioned it's a gem!The owner is amazing he doesn't pressure you into purchasing anything just loves sharing his knowledge of all the unique items he has acquired.He has everything from gems, stones, carvings, stuffed real animals and way more!I purchased these really cool pens with stylus that have gemstones in the side.

The owner of this place couldn't be any nicer. He's always engaged and not pushy, he's informative and not overbearing, he pulls out magic tricks all the time, and he really knows his stuff. Very good with kids too. An incredible variety with very reasonable prices. You'll find something here for sure.

Was finally able to visit this shop for the first time and to say I was taken away is an understatement. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to tell me lots about the Greek proto coin I purchased as well as all the other items I was interested in. The collection available is amazing and breathtaking. From fossils to crystals and taxidermy and more, I loved every bit of the store. The first place I've found that sells nothing but authentic items and the crystals in collection are amazing. Not only in quantity but quality as well! The owner went over his process of how he tests all the stones and crystals so he's always selling real stuff. The Sydney Odditorium is also the only place I've been able to find real malachite that was absolutely stunning. I definitely will be back for the slab I was eyeballing. I left with not only my proto coin, but I also left with a porcupine quill and a peacock feather as well as a sense of joy! You'll be seeing me again for that malachite 100% and maybe even a magalodone tooth or the wood duck, haven't decided yet.Nothing better than a shop and owner who actually cares about the items they're selling. Will be recommending to all my crystal collection friends so they can get theirs hands on some amazing statement pieces.

Unique little store with a variety of gems, stones and historical pieces. Owner is excellent with the children with a wealth of information and leaving an enjoyable, positive and educational experience. Highly recommend.Support local businesses.

Can't say enough positive things about The Sydney Odditorium. So many treasures in all price ranges. Great place for young or old, collectors and beginners. If you have kids definitely take them here, they'll have a blast. if you haven't been here yet be sure to visit!

This shop is awesome!! The owner is so knowledgable and friendly, he was doing magic tricks for us and it was so much fun! Lots of crystals and cool stuff to look at that you would never find anywhere else. Will be going back for sure!

The employees are always super welcoming and always ready to have a laugh, plus being incredibly knowledgeable about everything in the shop plus more! I always learn something new every time I go, and leave in a better mood than when I went in. They have a wide selection of crystals, fossils, and other fun oddities. You can’t go wrong choosing this spot!
