Such a hassle to get health card renewed when child turned 16. Person serving me was very nice but supervisor was rude and just wanted to make things difficult.

Agree with post about renewing for 16 year old. Went in got a list of acceptable documents for proof of address and id. One item was child tax benefit statement. Brought this in with student id, they refused ccb statement because it was addressed to me, not the child. It had our address and all the children at that address that were receiving ccb. It quite obviously isn't addressed to the child, that happens under very few circumstances.I called service Ontario and they agreed that it is acceptable, and advised me to go to another location. I suppose it was the supervisor, was quite ignorant about it. His health card is expired and our doctor wouldn't take it to make an appointment that he needs, and between school and work it's not easy making 3 trips for a simple health card renewal with the child.

Rude service .. if u can't do anything for me that ok but explain why and help me thru what do do ....will be going downtown from now on.

Excellent customer service sometimes the lady's can come across a bit tuff but they get some really ignorant characters to deal with, supportive and helpful.

I went to this Service Ontario branch and was the only person inside at the time.There was two employees there, one was on the phone, the second kindly asked me to take a number and a seat and someone would be with me when someone was available so I did as I was asked and shortly after the first person was off the phone, then I sat and watched for fifteen minutes the two of them just scanning paperwork.Now I do not expect instant service but making someone wait for fifteen minutes while two of them sit there and just scan stuff is not acceptable, especially when after the fifteen minutes a half dozen people walk in, then with the place now packed with people they decide to start serving people, I was just lucky I was first in line.

Good service, long waitThe staff were lovely and I spent less than 5 minutes inside the building getting my records changed.However, I had to wait almost an hour outside even though I arrived with only 5 people in front of me in line. If it weren't cloudy and pleasant outside, it would have been a miserable wait.

Fast, efficient and friendly service. This location is seldom as busy as the others.

I went to get my card renewed and the lady listed off a bunch of things I needed. Never in the passed did I need every document under the sun to renew.Come to find out it’s not true anyways. The lady just didn’t want to do it I guess. Another employee even spoke up behind her saying something different and she just brunch her off. Apparently this isn’t the first time. I’d avoid this service Ontario at all costs.
