I’ve shopped for years in person at fabrications and Jane and her wonderful staff evenAre amazing to deal with online. I’ve never had better service and they are so pleasant to deal with. If your looking for someone to help you with your wardrobe this is the store to choose.They carry quality clothing lines, part 2 , Joules etc all quite reasonably priced and stylish.When I’m lucky enough to visit the island this is one of my first stops.

Fabrications is a jewel box" of a store. I live in Victoria and there is nothing comparable. It's definitely worth the drive! This very special boutique abounds with beautiful unique pieces of quality clothing featuring lovely prints

February of this year my sister and I were unable to visit our mom for her birthday due to Covid, so we decided to buy her some jewelery from one of her fav artists - Karyn Chopik, and once we did a little bit of research we found out that Fabrications is a vendor for her jewelry! Our mom has been a long time customer at Fabrications and I have had the pleasure of knowing Jane and her daughter for a majority of my life, so it was obvious we were going to support this business with our purchase. Neither my sister or myself live on Vancouver Island so we called the store and I believe we spoke to Trish, who was extremely helpful and patient. She took photos of their jewelry case with specific pieces in our price range, texted them to us and helped us pick, and then once we chose the ones we wanted she took our payment over the phone, wrapped up the gift, and then kept it there safe and sound until our mom went to pick it up! The customer service has always been exceptional, but this time we were blown away, Thank you Fabrications! ❤️

My wife and I visited the Fabrications boutique recently. I’m sure it’s uncommon for a husband to send in a review for a women’s clothing store! However, I was so impressed with the service, and the care and attention my wife got when we visited this store. She had the best experience ever in a clothing store, got some great clothes that looks really good on her, and she was just so happy with the outcome. I can’t recommend the store enough. I had a nice comfy chair to sit on and just enjoyed the show.Even though we live in Victoria, I’ll bet dollars to donuts that my wife will go back up to Duncan to get more clothes at this great boutique.

Jane is a terrible woman and business owner. She boasts about having ethics and yet, she behaves without them. I just learned how awfully she's treated some of her staff, namely Avril and Carol. Jane should be reported to the employment standards board. Anyone reading this can contact me and I'll give you the details.My last experiences with Jane were dreadful. Fabrications is a lovely looking store with wonderful product. I've shopped here for 20 years, and in spite of Jane usually speaking to me like a second-class citizen, I really like supporting local. I just assumed her frosty demeanor stemmed from her insecurities. It didn't stop me from buying clothes I love.But the last time we spoke, Jane crossed a lot of boundaries. She reamed me out for causing wrinkles in a top as I was trying it on. She then flew into my change room and got upset because a pair of pants was draped over my bag. Later, she sent me an insulting email for returning an item with a piece of lint on it, demanding I award the store more respect.I responded, asking her to treat me nicer, whilst also complimenting her beautiful store. No response. I recently discovered she blocked me from the Fabrications' Facebook page. An unprofessional and angering conclusion after shopping here for 20 years. I'm not okay with it.Jane is a hypocrite. She demands respect but seems incapable of giving any back.Once and if Avril, Carol, and I receive truly remorseful apologies for the terrible way she chose to treat us, I'll consider removing my review.

We have lived on Vancouver island for 30 years I love shopping at fabrications. Jane in particular is so helpful and always helped me pick out the perfect gift for my wife. The business is very well run and with a personable owner , great selection and quality of women’s fashions . Shopping is never stressful at fabrications , See you again soon , Thanks so much !
