Pawsitive Solutions Dog Training

It was a great experience working with Kris in our Mind Your Manners classes. She was very knowledgeable with dogs, making sense of many mannerisms for us and giving us confidence. Kris was patient and gave us many tips to work with our dog in a positive way, rather than a disciplinary way. Loved the classes!

I highly recommend the Mind Your Manners classes with Kris! My recent rescue who never listened or did a trick joined the group lessons and has turned the corner so quickly with the right guidance. Even though it's a group class, Kris pays individual attention to each dog, understands their behaviour, and gives you personalized assistance. I'm so happy with the results!

I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to take private Puppy Academy lessons with Kris at Pawsitive Solutions. She is an excellent dog trainer and is extremely caring, professional, reliable, and responsive. Her ongoing support and advice from before I even got my puppy home at 8 weeks old through to over 5 months old have been invaluable! My puppy absolutely adores her and in addition to our training sessions she had a fantastic time playing with other puppies in the puppy play drop ins. Kris pays close attention to details around safety and cleanliness which was extra peace of mind especially during the pandemic. The private package was an excellent value - she really customized lessons to our needs and was very flexible and accommodating. I'm looking forward to future classes/workshops with Kris!

Kris is a great trainer! My pup, Maybel, went from the timid, overwhelmed, hide in the corner" student to class clown in a class or two. She's gone from being terrified of a walk to bringing me the leash to say it's time to go exploring again! Maybel's confidence grew so much over the class

I have tried a few trainers in Calgary and Kris is definitely one of the best. She is very professional, reliable and knowledgeable. I understand helping with one without any dog experience was difficult and challenging. However, she not only helped my rescue dog become less fearful but started to know how to sit, lay down and walk on leash. I did not expect that at all. I definitely will join her classes again.Very patient, wise and always available to help others with different level of experience.

We really enjoyed the puppy training classes with Kris at Pawsitive Solutions. Kris is very patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what she does. Her tips and techniques for all of the commands we learned (or concerns we had), were practical and effective. The safe environment for puppy socialization is always a plus, too. Since I didn't grow up with a pet dog, I was clueless how to take care of my special 40th birthday present - a puppy! Kris, from Pawsitive Solutions, has been supporting Orlando and me throughout this experience - from potty training to helping ease his anxiety. With her guidance and encouragement, I have a well-trained, calm, happy, sweet little buddy. Orlando has mastered lots of skills - some to keep him safe, others just for fun. He loves giving high fives! Kris knows what she's doing. She listens to your concerns and then offers manageable and clear instructions and support. She has lots of ways to make the learning playful. Orlando and I are both fans and would certainly recommend Pawsitive Solutions!
