Train With Layne

Layne is an absolute miracle worker! We have an 8 month old lab, Remi, who is full of energy, had a hard time listening and following commands, counter surfed, and jumped on every guest including us. We had a few private lessons with Layne and when she suggested the Ultimate Family Puppy Camp, we jumped at the chance. The camp was AMAZING! Our puppy came home so well behaved! It is as though she forgot all her naughty habits. She sits to greet guests, knows and follows so many commands and, most importantly, she is a calmer pup. We took her for ice cream and there was quite a lot of activity. On her own, Remi laid down and waited patiently. All the action and people around did not even phase her. This new change is all due to Layne! She loves your pup as her own and we felt very comfortable leaving Remi in her care. Layne is absolutely amazing and works with every member of the household as well as your pet so you all have a calmer existence. We highly recommend Layne and her training! You will not be disappointed!!

We cannot recommend Layne enough! We brought our (almost) 2 year old 85lb Lab/Golden mix to Layne for a 3 week stay-and-train hopeful that she could tame his wild instincts and turn him into a dog that listens. She did so much more! Her training has allowed us to enjoy our Ozzy more than ever. A trained dog really is a free dog! He has excellent leash behavior, near-perfect recall, will stay in place on his bed while we eat meals, and is still the goofy and loving boy that we love so much. Not only did she train Ozzy, she spent time to train us as well! She was so thorough with our education so that we were set up for success. We cannot thank her enough!

We cannot recommend Layne enough! We had our 9 month old puppy go through her 3 week stay and train program and the results have been nothing short of amazing. We loved our puppy before but can now LIVE with her and really enjoy our time and experience with her. Prior to bringing her to Layne, she would run away from us, ignore our commands almost entirely unless we offered treats, would bark uncontrollably, etc and after 3 weeks she not only responds to commands with ease and true intention but she has learned to self-calm and chill and seems so much happier. And because we can trust that she will listen we’ve had some amazing off leash walks, and have opened up areas of our home we previously had closed off to her. And we don’t have to worry about her stealing and chewing on everything! We were apprehensive about leaving her somewhere for 3 weeks but Layne made it so easy to trust her and the constant social media updates with our pup really helped us feel at ease and let us know what she was learning. We have been using Layne for our dog Sunny since he was very young. She is absolutely amazing! She has a great program and is phenomenal with dogs. Sunny has done private lessons, head start and stay and train. He has done amazing with Layne!! He is an incredibly behaved dog now and loves seeing her and going to her home! She also gives you all the tools and tips to work with your dog at home. She is great at communicating and making sure you are informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Train with Layne! She is a very passionate pet professional who truly loves what she does!

We have nothing but great things to say about Layne! She worked with our very stubborn, very excitable Bernese Mountain Dog. Through working with Layne, Ziggy become a more confident and calmer dog. Layne is so great to work with. We always felt updated, and she has been available to help with issues even after we got home. We have recommended her to multiple friends and will be using her again for any other dog we get in the future!

Very happy with the experience and outcome of enrolling our 3 year old small, overly anxious and often aggressive dog with Layne at Train With Layne. I honestly didn't think it was possible to make much change in our dog's behavior but thanks to Layne in three short weeks there has been a night and day difference (in a terrific way). Our little one now has new level of confidence and calmness she didn't have before. And Layne gave us the tools and knowledge we need to continue on the successful path. I went in with low expectations but Layne went above and beyond providing exceptional results.

I used layne to train my wild 5 month old lab. She did such an amazing job in 3 weeks she took my totally out of control dog and turned him into a calm joyful puppy to be around. Molly is a super excitable pup who finds it hard to slow down. We were having trouble containing her energy by ourselves. We needed help and Layne provided that.Throughout the stay and train we were able to keep in contact with Layne through phone/text and instagram updates. We had a training session with Molly half way through the session and at the end of the session. So, Layne not only trains the dogs but the people too.We found Layne to be very in tune with the dogs. She even found an ear issue on Molly that we hadn’t noticed! Layne was able to work wonders with Molly - it’s like she is a different dog! She listens, heels and is not jumping on guests in our home! Of course, she has tested us once we got back home, but with the skills Layne has taught us and Molly, I’m confident we will remain on track!
