I recently visited the Concordia library and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The facility is modern and well-maintained, with plenty of comfortable seating and state-of-the-art technology. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the collection of books and resources was vast and diverse. I especially appreciated the quiet study areas, which allowed for a productive and focused work session. Overall, I highly recommend the Concordia library to anyone in need of a top-notch research and study destination.

A big library with 5 floors. Lots of different spaces available for both individual and group studies. There is a separate space for graduate students, with a place to eat in the 5th floor. Many silent rooms available in every floor. A private room for a group can booked on the Concordia’s library web page based on the availability. Open 24 hours. Open for public till 11pm. Need to be associated with Concordia to stay after 11pm.

Crowded during the exams time, it would be difficult to find a place here! The place is clean and tidy! A part of 5th floor is reserved for graduate students where you need your ID card to access it. Study rooms are very quite. You can loan laptops, headphones, iPad, microprocessors (if you are a student of Concordia). This is my go to place!

The Benefits of being in this Library is that it is close to the Metro Station. They also have a lot of good study rooms.Accessible features for all and have a great places to study. The library is clean and modern. Some Computers are down since they are not made to last that long. They should update and change that immediately. Also, I think they should let students who have friends or visitors not to study in the quiet area. Some students bring their friends into the quiet no talking study area and it bothers me because they talk and whisper and it distracts me. If they want they should study outside of that area or study at their residence. It is simpler and much better. All in All love the library it is the best library in the University system in my opinion. Hope to see changes and improvements in service, the building facility and changes to the future of the building environmentally and sustainbality.

One of the best libraries in Montreal. It's open 24 hours which is the best part. I enjoy my time here. There are good resources and books to read! I love this place

Beautiful library, though large doesn't count for the huge amount of students. Very loud even in quiet places.

Beautiful space, well lit, lots of outlets and seating near windows but my word...When did libraries lose their designation as quiet spaces??? People are so inconsiderate and rude. It doesn't matter if you stage-whisper if your conversation is a full 45 minutes long!!! That's in the reading rooms, which aren't soundproof, despite what certain people seem to think. Good luck trying to concentrate in and around the stacks. Loud talking in groups or on cellphones is far too common. Make sure to bring ear plugs or full-charged earphones if you don't want to be bothered...Which you shouldn't have to do because there is an expectation of QUIET in a LIBRARY!!!!!

Great. But the LED lights in the ceiling are the worst. I like to use the computers and spend many hours doing homework there. The light is way too sharp and strong, I feel I need to wear sunglasses.

I had the worst interview of my career here. I have a decade of library experience and when a temporary position came up, I thought the process was going to be fairly easy. That was not the case. I interviewed for a position at the library that was only a month long. You read that right, a MONTH only. Why couldn't they get an employee to do extra hours at this branch instead of wasting time and money interviewing external candidates?5 people were in the room interviewing me. They asked me the toughest and degrading questions that I have never been asked in any interview before. All this work for a month-long temp position?I am so glad I didn't get the job here. I did my best to answer these questions honestly and sincerely. These managers are micro-managers and I can't imagine what working here is like if the interview was this bad.

Very quiet with many desks to do your work, charge your phone, or procrastinate. Quiet with respectable students that whisper when they speak. Not allowed to eat inside the library and only spill proof containers for water is allowed
