The website made it easy to arrange and reserve a moving appointment. Chris and Robert were polite, professional and courteous. They were very efficient and worked quickly. They made sure that I was satisfied with the move, placement of my items, and also connected my washer and dryer. They were able to give me excellent advice on where my items should be placed. Nothing was damaged. The movers were very professional and I will definitely be using them again. Thanks.

Markham Movers was a great company to work with. It was simple to get an estimate and set a move date. They were amazing. The movers were professional and friendly. They took care of my furniture, and even moved heavy furniture into the garage so that I could donate it. They were very helpful throughout the whole process. This service is highly recommended.

I recently used this company to move. I'd like to start by saying the movers themselves did a great job handling the furniture and I have no complaints there.However, there were numerous miscommunications about their service. They ask you to send over a list of items before the move, so I did. Based off the information you give them, they decide which size vehicle they're going to send you. Keep in mind this was never mentioned at any point before the move.They showed up with a cargo van the morning of the move. I had requested to move a freezer, furniture (bedroom suite, tables etc.) and boxes. Obviously the van was too small to fit even 1/4 of the items we had so they left. The movers also left without saying anything so we had no idea what was going on. We called the company again and they ended up sending an actual truck a few hours later.The other major miscommunication was all of the extra charges they added for moving several items. They charge an extra $30 to move certain furniture to different levels of a house. We ended up paying over $400 more than what we were originally quoted.As I said at the beginning, the movers themselves were great, however the customer service was not.If you choose to use this company just make sure to list off every single item you have to move, otherwise they'll send you a van that you can find at Home Depot. Also be prepared to spend more than they tell you.
