Hastings Park Winter Farmers Market
Little farmers market with organic veggies/meat, and hot food vendors. I particularly liked the BC garlic booth.

This is a small farmers market in size as comparison to Kitsilano, Nat Bailey or even the West End market, however it is one of only two winter markets in the Vancouver area. They still have a surprising amount of produce so if you need a farmer's market fix during the winter months and want to support local growers, this is a very good option to the supermarkets.

The market was surprisingly pleasant and nice. We haven’t gone to this market in quite some time and our experience this weekend was great.A lot of vendors (could be a bit more) and good fair prices. We got a variety of items from the market, from desserts to eggs and produce and so much more. This farmers market is a place to check out, opens on Sundays from 10-2.We had a pleasant and nice experience. Friendly vendors and service!

Delightful market, smaller than Riley park but still good!

This market did not disappoint. Very fresh and tasty local produce and other items from the area. The honey, coffee, breads etc - all very well made. Some prices were on the high side to be expected for ‘artisan’ items but most were manageable for what was being sold. I do find it to be hit or miss some weekends, depends who shows up that day. For the size, I can appreciate the effort.

So many great offerings, but this place is hilariously miserable on rainy days: So many vendors sell (amongst other things) delicious, fresh hot food, but there’s nowhere warm or at least dry under which to enjoy any of it, so instead you get to watch your pricey food quickly become a soggy and wet mess. Please resolve this.Vancouver is a rainy city, yes, but to ‘deal with it’ can also mean to not let it dampen absolutely everything.

I love this market! The volunteers are amazing and the vendors are always friendly. It’s not one of the bigger farmers markets, but has a loyal following. Line ups are minimal, and the crowd is usually conversational—- from 2meters apart that is....Be sure and see the garlic guy!I have too many favourites to list, and vendors change weekly.I’m so grateful to the farmers and happy we established this early on (there was a petition in March) as an essential service!! Very organized for the COVID times and waaaaaay better than shopping indoors!

Love going to this market! Its never too busy but has awesome vendors. Best coffee vendor in the city is often there (green coast coffee) and Melt city makes incredible grilled cheeses, shameless buns is often there, sooo many great trucks. And the market always has awesome variety too.
