Wow! What an amazing experience I had this week from the staff at Golden Rug. I purchased a beautiful rug this week, and I've never felt so taken care of. The staff were extremely knowledgable and shared their expertise with me. I learned so many interesting facts and details about each style of carpet weaving. It is a dying art form that everyone needs to appreciate! These gorgeous carpets are all handmade and I cannot wait to add more of these special carpets into our home. If you need an area rug, look no further than Golden Rug. I very highly recommend them. Exceptional selection of stunningly beautiful hand knotted rugs, each a work of art. Laiq and Ali were very patient with my indecision about which rugs looked best in my space, letting me take a number of them with me to try. (Laiq and his brother even came with me to carry in the heavier ones!) They generously shared their extensive knowledge about carpets and helped me select three gorgeous ones that make my house feel like a home. Thank you!

If you are looking for an authentic high quality rug this is the place to shop. Ali is extremely knowledgeable and will guide you to the right rug to fit your space perfectly. We are absolutely in love with the rug we purchased for our office. We bought a cashmere blanket and shawls which are so warm and beautiful, not recommended for anyone with hot flashes. Do not waste your money anywhere else.here they washed my two handmade rugs and I had my absolute best experience in Metro Vancouver.( In the past I used to have the same rugs washed in D***** store in North Vancouver which was barely satisfactory, but I was unaware of Golden Rug at that time )

Great service and great products!We visited Golden Rug on a trip to Vancouver.We've been searching for rugs for our home for months now, but had not seen anything in the price and quality range that we were looking for until we found Golden Rug. Ali has such a wide range of beautiful high quality rugs.As we described what we were looking for, he patiently listened and asked some questions that helped narrow down the options. After that, Ali and his staff (I'm sorry, I didn't get the other gentleman's name), showed us many great rugs that met our needs. Once we'd narrowed them down to five or six, they laid them out for us to compare.Throughout this process, Ali told us about the history of the designs, materials and rug making techniques. He is so knowledgable and clearly loves what he does.I think we probably spent over an hour and half in the store and never felt rushed. We ended up buying two rugs, which is what we were looking for.Ali had them shipped to our home in Manitoba within days. They arrived in perfect condition and are a beautiful addition to our home.We will be buying from Golden Rug again!

We recently had the pleasure of meeting with Ali Amini of Golden Rug where we purchased several beautiful Persian carpets for our home in Whistler. To facilitate finding the right carpets for the specific locations in our home, I sent photographs of the spaces and maximum measurements to Ali who was able to go through his inventory and select some carpets that could coordinate with the paint colours of our rooms.
