Lovely staff. Lovely cozy old fashioned place.i want in lady night with $25 as they only take cash and wanted the coleslaw which is out of this world, so is the fish. Ant the fries are nothing like any other fish and chips placesAnyways I was short .88 cents and still gave it to me!!!!People like you guys in business make this world a better place....one customer at a time.Bless all you at Churchill fish and chips.It's the small things that make you all so special!Can't wait to come in again!!!

I've read all the great reviews here and thought I'd try. Got the 2 halibut and chips, cost was almost $25. But that is normal these days. Place was empty at 5pm on a Tuesday. Well it was the worse I've ever had, 1 fish was raw, unbelievable. And half of the first was raw. It's not like they were extremely busy or anything, like I said place was empty. People where very nice, but like I said, the worse halibut I've ever had. Threw it out. Never again, I DO NOT recommend this place. Best is still Captain George in Bowmanville.

Large halibut portions, good price, friendly staff. This would be my go to dish and chips place if I was local, but honestly it's worth the drive if you're not too far outside oshawa

I picked up a family pack for my family and I can’t say enough how delicious and fresh it was. Love this place and it’s people working in it. Super friendly. Best Fish & Chips in Durham Region.

Price is absolutely incredible for 4 halibut and chips which feeds the whole family. Big pieces and tastes great. Note that they take cash only. The store itself needs a major facelift but who cares if the food is good and we're eating it at home anyway. I love supporting family run businesses who truly have good food and prices.

We visited Churchills again and I have to say the service was excellent as usual. We didn't have to wait long at all for the food and the servings were much more than we expected. We will definitely come back again. The restaurant was very clean and the ataff were so warm and welcoming. Honestly. I love fish and chips and so if you do too I highly recommend this place. You can see in my photo that the portions are AMAZING. Thank you!!!!We both had two pieces of fish and a truck load of fries. You'll be full when you leave and I'm a big guy.

They only accept cash.We called today after seeing this post ordered a large poutine . My brother goes in to pay , unfortunately we didn’t have cash on us, the atm was down ; we went to use the atm at giant tiger and it wasn’t dispensing cash either.I called and let the guy know and he got very rude over the phone and started raising his voice and talking over me. I apologized and suggested that he let customers know that they only accept cash. He repeatedly told me not to ever call them again for food.I’m sure the poutine is great however, with his poor customer service skills, rude mouth etc I def won’t be attempting to try them again.

I took my mom here for dinner. At first the prices seemed a bit high. The water though was excellent. Peter I believe his name was. Once the food came out I realized that price was not a problem. The best fish and chips I have had since old pat and Mike's. Crispy fish. Perfect cooked fries. Even the coleslaw that I rarely eat was delicious. I will be back. Keep up the good work
