Wouldn't want my kid's going anywhere else. Trustworthy and caring staff all around.

The supervisor Josie from St Mark’s was very nice and gave me the opportunity to do my placement at St Marks. You can tell she loves her job and loves the kids. The place is perfect for children and the teachers are good with the kids. However, only some of the teachers were nice to me and one of the teachers gave me a very bad review/mark on my placement evaluation that I definitely did not deserve. I was very shocked and hurt because I believe that I was very positive, nice and good with the kids and with the workers. I don’t think she knew that it was just a job shadow (which means I am only there to observe). In my evaluation she said that I need more experience and wrote some other terrible things that were not true about me. Of course I need more experience if I am just a first year student! Overall, I thought I had a good experience with my placement and thought I had a good connection with the workers there but guess I was wrong. I do not recommend doing your placement here! She was very strict considering she knew that it was my first placement and she still gave me a failing grade.
