North Edmonton Gymnastics Club

They are seemingly really nice and great coaches. But this is truly just a facade. We have never had issues until this year. These competitive coaches were actively bullying a 14 year old girl, and I have many examples to prove this, including them telling another parent that they were genuinely trying to separate this one girl from the rest of her group due to “ongoing manipulative behaviours.” They didn’t even bother to talk to her parents or anything. She had devoted almost 5 years of her life to this club. What manipulative and terrible coaches with absolutely no regard for anyone else. I hope they all rot in hell.

I have been here because I take classes and honestly what I would say about this place is it’s an honour to take classes here. They teach u how to do the skills, they let u know if u did it right or not and they would help u do it. The NEGC is a very clean and organized place. There is also a very neat viewing place for parents. They also give u a break after each place u go like beam, bars, etc. They have a fun obstacle course for the kids, a nice big warm up, and even a little sense of humour to start ur day right! I am very glad i found NEGC and I suggest you come bring ur kids here. I give this place a four stars for everything they do to make this place feel like home. My experience was great and I never had stress about NEGC so recommend coming here.

Our twin boys loved their Tumble Bear classes at NEGC! Their coaches, Victoria and Alyssa, were engaging, skillful and kind. Each week they set up different circuits to encourage the kids to try out new movements and equipment. This kept the classes interesting (our boys were never bored). Highly recommend!

Came in today for our first drop in play. The staff were great and even took my son to explore while I did intial paperwork. Seemed clean and organized. It was a lot of fun for a 22 month old. At the end they had a little dance party and stamps for the kids. This was more than I expected. Keep up the wonderful work.

It used to be good gymnastics that offers good service. But not any more. Not sure who is the new owner that bought the gym... Apparently it's running in poor way. The fee is raised every year while the quality of service is worse and worse. Wouldn't recommend anyone come here if u look for high quality class.

I had my son in there for a couple years and things are fine until you need to talk to someone. We wanted clarification from one of the coaches “Alex” about our sons last report card. He wasn’t available until you signed up for the next class. The staff were unable to answer any questions and things kept getting forwarded to coach who wasn’t available by phone. Basically I would have to show up after a class he was working and hope he had time. Several emails were left along with phone calls. Emails took a few days to respond by someone other than coach. It was a frustrating experience and disappointing since we had been there for a couple years. Let’s say we never had a chance to speak directly with the coach. The facility is clean and new. Things seem to work well if you don’t run into any problems.

Enrolled my 5 year old daughter so far she is really enjoying herself. Great for socializing the children, working on core strengths, flexibility, structure, getting a work out and burning some energy all while enhancing motor skills and having so much fun!

Found North Edmonton Gymnastics Club online as we were looking for a place to go with our toddler. Let me tell you, after just the first class with our coach, we will be coming time and time again. It's so much fun with our son, and he talks about it all week. Always wanting more jumping and bouncing, climbing and balancing. Our Coach, Ava is great! Top notch, and very interactive with the little ones running around. Highly recommend this place.

Staff are friendly and organized, and keep the kids interested (including the preschool/toddlers) by keeping the activities paced appropriately, and using lots of encouragement (and fun weekly themes). My daughter took several classes, and I highly recommend Ms Vicki, Ms Shelley, Ms Kelly, and the head coach, who stops by to encourage the kids. Never felt competitive or pushy. I was impressed by what my daughter could learn and see her confidence grow.
