Fun easy going place across from the train station. Been around since 1882. Could use a few railway related items to better connect the Rail Heritage present to the past.

What a wonderful little gem of a place. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and delicious food! The house beer as well is a great drink to pair with your meal. Will definetly be going back.Featured:The Highland burger: with cheese and bacon. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.Paired with The Atlantic House Beer.

Girls has the pogo W fries and a poutine. i had the philly cheese steak sandwich --- i do not suggest that sandwich. super dry, soggy hamburger bun, marble cheese. i just was NOT a fan of it. Girls loved their pogo W fries and poutine. They were very satisfied! Beer was good. Server was friendly. Bartender was attentive. Nice Place. Will try something else on the menu next time!

I found this place because someone posted about it in the Cornwall, Ontario Facebook group. I instantly wanted to go because it looked so good.My friend and I decided to take a drive out and see for ourselves. The drive from Cornwall to Alexandria was a nice, calming drive.Now, to the food! We arrived and were a bit confused as to where to park, but we managed to find a spot. The doors of the place are a bit confusing because there was no signage to show what door to go into. We picked one and guessed correctly. They had a place to sign in for contact tracing, though it was not staffed so we could have just went in and sat down (we didnt). I will credit them, it was slow and a Sunday so they may have someone watching the door when its more busy.We went in and sat down. Almost instantly we had a waitress come and offer us menus. She was very quick and polite. Took our drink orders and had them back to us asap.We put in our orders. I got the Bulliet burbon BBQ cheese burger and my friend got the maple bacon grilled cheese. We both got curly fries.We did not wait long at all. I think they should change their name to The fast pub".As you can see from out pictures it was a good amount of food for a good price. My burger was stacked and held together by a steak knife. I didn't get cheese on mine because I'm very lactose intolerant. This was the best burger I have had in a long time. It was thick

I drove 6 hours to take my grandchildren out for a special dinner here only to be very disappointed. Seems they got a new menu 3 weeks ago, and it was not very child friendly. None of these dishes mentioned below are on the menu any longer except the highland burger which was not really what I expected.The burger was not a nice juicy patty like I imagined it would be. It was 3 tube like rolls of over cooked ground beef with no spices, no flavour.And to top it off there was a metal shard in the pot of ketchup my grandchildren got with their fries. We took it to the staff and no one said a thing.I have never posted a negative review before, but after much though I decided it was the right thing to do.
