Our experience with Glen was overwhelmingly positive from beginning to end. We originally scheduled another inspector who cancelled on us one hour before the appointment. After searching for another inspector I called Glen and he was able to fit us in that same day. He was very professional throughout our interaction. His inspection was thorough and fair. During the walk through he offered several tips for DIY improvements, as well as a wealth of other useful information. He even had a drone to take aerial photos of the roof. He was able to get his final report to us quickly, less than 24 hours after our appointment. The report was, like his inspection, detailed, thorough, and fair. It was full of even more general information and home improvement recommendations and tips. He included example photos, photos of our property, diagrams and drawings. I would absolutely recommend Glen to anyone needing a home inspector. He was meticulous, courteous, pleasant to work with, and left us feeling fully prepared to address any and all necessary repairs.

My girlfriend and I are buying our first home, and we didn’t really know where to start. Glen was amazingly thorough and provided great information and a detailed report that is really going to help us plan our projects. He also got us this wealth of information and a very detailed report very quickly, as well as being punctual for the actual inspection. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I can’t recommend his services enough.

Glen went above and beyond completing my home inspection. Glen was responsive to the request and was accommodating when scheduling. He had a quick turn around on his inspection report and was very detail oriented. Glen Board provides an extensive, detailed and easy to understand report, showing the issues found as well as relevant codes and then provides recommended solutions, which is extremely helpful. This inspection report is really all the potential homebuyer needs to determine the extent of the work involved for negotiating terms as well as planning future projects and prioritizing them to ensure that the home is improved and potential additional damage is prevented.I've seen many other inspection reports and I've never seen one as detailed and as helpful as Glen's and I would strongly recommend him to anyone considering a home purchase or pre-project estimates.Glen's work and his attention to detail as well as his commitment to providing the highest quality work ensures that his clients are getting an excellent value for their money spent.

Great experience! I highly recommend Board by Board LLC. Glen is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He prepared us every step of the way so we had full awareness of his process and what to expect. We feel confident in proceeding with the purchase of the home now that we have a better understanding of how to maintain it. The report is amazing and was delivered on time despite a busy holiday weekend. Glen paid attention to all of the details of the home inspection process. He was very professional and used his years of experience to show us, as new home buyers, what to look for when buying our home. We reviewed all of the things that could be unexpected costs as well as possible life safety issues that needed to be addressed before we made our purchase. His report was incredibly thorough and has helped us plan for future improvements to the house.

As a first time homebuyer, there's a lot that I don't know about buying a house and the things to consider when looking at a potential home.Thankfully for me, Glen called out everything that could be improved in the house and most importantly, how to fix it. As a first-time homebuyer, I really appreciated the time Glen took to explain what he saw in and around the house, where problems were and how to fix them, as well as where problems could potentially show up and how to avoid them. This was my 2nd time using Glen as my pre-purchase home inspector in the last 5 years. He stays up to date on new ways to inspect the property such as a drone to get aerial photos of the entire property and closer photos of steep roof features. He will do a very thorough inspection of your house and give you the full breakdown of things he sees as immediate and possible future issues as well as suggestions on how to repair/prevent these issues. He will point out things that most home owners, and especially first time home owners, may never even think about, and save you from a massive headache down the road had these things gone unchecked. I would absolutely recommend him as your home inspector and at least recommend that everyone gets a home inspection in general before buying a house, especially in today's market when you have on average a total of 15 minutes viewing a house before deciding to put a bid on it. You wouldn't buy a used car without making sure it runs, so why would you buy a used house without making sure it's a good investment by having an professional inspect it?
